Thanks. A 35.766 and my first Gold. Still over a second off last weeks Gold time. Gran Turismo's bs of not letting you turn into a corner unless you're in the recommended gear is doing my head in.

I don't know what other people do but I split my driving using both the pad & a g29, some days I'll just use the pad, but mostly I use a wheel because ultimately I want to train myself & eventually get into eSports. I find the wheel is much nicer to drive with. Pro tip for other viewers: using the wheel is MUCH better for faster driving.

I am a 60-year-old paralyzed guy who plays with one foot and one arm. I use a modded G923 setup on PS5. I use Auto transmission mode as I Cannot shift ( yet). I beat the gold. Also, any advice from anyone would be appreciated.

As a Wheel driver, i tried the Last 3 TT‘s with Pad cause i was at my girlfriends place.. Made em all gold with a Pad… without Even beeing experienced with a Pad.. in some situations it was Even easier with a Pad…thanks for showing this to everybody Tidge…

awsome video but are track limits to the yellow double line if all tires are on other side it invalidates? I mean that one is kinda weird tbh :D easy money probably will try but it seems weird.

Yeah I'm not sure how this worked for him. The second my inside tires crossed over the double yellow line, the timer went red, indicating the lap time is invalid. Another note, I had a time that got me into gold on the first day of this, I checked it 2 days later, and I was put into the silver. They changed the time required for gold.

@@boosted0079 Hey,since you commented ill make a post update: I gave it a shot on fresh during few days and i scored valid .796 which is way under gold and safe bet but i tried to go all in but fastest lap was .700 but invalid so yeah holding with a controller in the double lines is impossible. The trick here obviously is to invalidate a lap to get behind double lines are it and hold it there supposedly was easier... but thats only a wheel strategy.

@@boosted0079 i get struggle its not easy - i got .800 one 3rd lap on first day but was a luck as i couldnt get there is quite a lot of laps so i will say bravery is hero on that race and key factor :) that was before i was scared and awared of that those lines really invalidate so much

@@mitkoprakov1296 well I got lucky. .789 it is. I was able to hold the car centered over the yellow lines. If the second set of tires cross it will invalidate, but not just the left side tires.

Appreciate teh feedback! Pad discussion will just be in the same video though all my advice on a wheel is what I do on a pad and just add any additional directions etc.

Yes I certainly noticed. I had gold on the first day. 2 days later I checked, and I was no longer in gold but in the silver

Currently sat at a 35.747 with an optimal of 35.720, which puts me 0.61% of top times, and that's with a dual sense controller (well within top 1000 at the time of writing) I'll keep plugging away at this one, it's super quick and yet fiendishly difficult to get the very best time possible I've found turning down the controller sensitivity from my usual of 10 to -2 helped massively for me It was too skittish on the transition from banking to flat at anything more than -2 in my experience, so for anyone having difficulty maybe try playing around with sensitivity options to see what works for you

Nope, they are only allowing 1% for gold I had gold rank 500 or so, it's already less than 2k best time at .035 seconds so there isn't going to be many getting gold only 1% not usual 3% bc so short 35.883 and I've almost dropped out of gold after 2 hrs it's the stupidest one ever.

Its not the top 1% of players. You have to be 1% off the best time to get gold, so right now you have to beat around 0.35.928. I just hit 535th position on pad with a time of 0.35.765 so it is totally doable

They've changed tyne time required for gold a few times now. They are basing it off the way you're thinking. Best bet is to wait till the final hour of this event and try then because I was easily in the gold on day 1. Checked a few days later and they changed the time required based on the number of players getting inside the time
