Slice is a dope feature I just prefer using classic mode. You can reverse and pitch the sample super easy, its jut my go to.

Why did you use the 1/8 Swing A quantize on the kicks?

I use 1/8 for simple patterns and use the Swing to make the pattern sound a little more natural.

You need to drag where you want the sample to start and end , so when you start recording on your keys it records the midi.
