Thanks, this hep me. For me, I followed every steps you described here then some. On the 2nd PC, I find the game I want to share on the 2nd PC and request to borrow it. Then grant access from the email and install that game on the 2nd PC. After installation, I log onto another Stream account on the 2nd PC and the game is there ready to play. All other games from the loaner library also show up as well.

Let’s add that yes 2 people can’t play the same game without purchase, but another person can’t borrow a different game while your playing a different game. So doesn’t steam Sharing really isn’t sharing anymore might as well just play on 1 account and have a friend play on your account at this point

There are a few different circumstances where this mode is useful. There are games my husband bought on his account and I played on his account when he wasn’t playing. Now that I have my own account there are games I want access to without interfering with his Steam account. They’re technically *my* games on his account. There are also games that each of us has bought and beaten that the other hasn’t. In that case, there won’t be a conflict of who gets to play at one time. I think the only real conflict will happen with online multiplayer games we want to play together or new games we both want to play. In the latter case, we can just share or suck it up and buy two copies.

It works but if you start playing a game and the person who’s library your sharing starts playing a game you only get five minutes of play and then you get kick out regardless if it’s a different game in the library
