Great video. I just want to add a comment regarding the Russian Cruiser. I do agree that it blocks the Germans from doing an amphibious assault on Leningrad, but for rookies and new comers, this is not guaranteed. The Italians could sink that ship with their planes. There is of course the risk of losing an Italian plane, so they may not opt to do so. But, it is very much possible.

Yes, not guaranteed considering the Italian can opener, thanks for that... so Russia needs to be aware if they want to leave Leningrad weak or empty.

As someone who, to date, hasn’t played a ton of global, and is currently in a global tournament, I very much appreciate this video. Clear, concise, and reasoned. I love your recommendation to exercise the fast movers to support China to “keep options open”. I make a similar recommendation in my classic series. Well done, hope to see more like vids like this.

I learned a few tidbits in this video, thanks YG. I didn't see one potential R1 build, which is majority Artillery purchase. I don't always do it, but their attack at 2 plus the extra 1 boost to Inf is a 3 attack value for 2IPCs less than a tank. No fast movement tho. I like your 6 tank build idea, might have to try it out.

My KZbin group does the Japan/Russia doing their turns pretty much the same time if Russia doesn't amass on Amur too just to save time, also with Anzac-France-Germany turns as well much of the time!!!

Havn't tested yet, but id like to try stacking planes and tanks in Leningrad with a few inf in Karelia, to do a counter attack into scandinavia once germany attacks. In my experience germany almost always attacks turn 2, so there won't be much waiting.
@ironstitch9511
@ironstitch9511 3 жыл бұрын
I would suggest that if you do this, you keep the reserve stack in Archangel or Belorus so that they do not get trapped in Scandinavia.

I think it would be a good move to take Finland then Norway. It takes 10 ipc's from Germany and adds 11 ipc's to Russia. A 21 ipc's swing in just 2 moves has got to help, also with help from British aircraft can take out any German navy that still survives.

Another great video YG. You are getting really busy in 2021. I’ve seen different G1’s where Germany has been aggressive in both fronts from the get go (Cobra Kai from siredblood for instance) or more focused on the UK and letting Russia build up their defenses. I have played A&A enough to put a smile in my face when talking about the Russian sub in SZ-127. Most of the times is forgotten or neglected. I think is a great idea to move it, as you suggested, to SZ-112 and from there to SZ-105. Have you considered the same strategy for the other sub in SZ-115? Why not both subs in SZ-105?

Thank you for this great video. Why do not put one blocker in Besarabia to protect the factory in the Ukraine? I know that many players just retreat to Moscow to save valuable infantrymen. But I still prefer to slow down Operation Barbarossa and, at the same time, keep some factories longer for Russia. And also important: Germany can't produce there early in the game.
