i don't think the audience is necessarily boring. to me this is on of those songs that's just so perfect, that you can't move. just close your eyes and take it in.

The live versions of this band are better than the cd because they jam together so fluently. They can communicate through their music, and know when to play more or less. It's a beautiful song, right here.

he is just enveloped in that environment, it flows through him and straight out to the audience, that is TRUE musicianship

First time I heard this song I actually cried. My soul and heart struggle every time this comes up on my audio players. ---sigh---- gonna listen to it again ohh man and that solo.... killer.

this song, is truly what real rock used to be. The Raconteurs are one of the very few bands left in the world that still know the true meaning of the word rock. this song is fantastic

I find it hard to define Racs music, but man they do the Blues so well. The rock is incredible too but Jack seems to be so deep into this, its brilliant. They play it so tight,,like everything they do,,,Im in awe of them

I was in that crowd and they were going wild. You just couldn't hear it on the video. This was by the way one of the greatest days of my life. I saw nine (!) brilliant performances in one day. The Stooges came after this and they were brilliant as well. After that Dirty Pretty Things and before the Raconteurs were Be your Own Pet. It was fantastic.
@RockMusicVideos9 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they are much better in live performances. This is insane!
@Gyozomroka9 жыл бұрын
Rock Music Videos I agree. This is my favorite version of this song. They also have a live version of "rich kid blues" that's amazing. It's hard to find, but if you look up "rich kid blues from the basement" you might be able to find it.

Not just white. Dont get me wrong i love the man but this band is just friggin awesome. little jack and keeler just know how to set the pace for the entire song and benson is both an excelent singer and guitar player. Sometimes i just feel white gets all the credit but still its good to know the love for raconteurs is shared :p
@KidMLV3 жыл бұрын
Gotta agree… jack white may be my favourite modern artist, but benson is a beast that never skips a beat. And if you close your eyes and isolate the rhythm section you realize just how tight this unit is… Lawrence and keeler are no nonsense every gig they play…

Thank you for posting this. I don't get to gigs much anymore (I am 66!) - my son and daughter do all of that now. If I did get out more, this is what I would want to see. Doesn't get much better for me - and I have seen some great rock performances in my time!
