This song is honestly perfect, so exciting to have The Raconteurs back in action. Fell in love with them in 2006 after seeing the music video for "steady as she goes" on Fuse and didn't even realize it was Jack White at the time, but never thought they'd come back after this much time away. Happy to be proven wrong! PS, this music video is so visually pleasing, I've watched it like 3x in a row.

Imagine a montage of a live venue production setup.. this is how “Hands” begins. Showing the scope and magnitude of it all. A vivid example of people in motion. From nothing, magic is manifested magnificently, performers take stage and the crowd celebrates its crescendo.... Finally as the last few guitar licks kick water bottles out of the way, the stage is seemingly instantaneously struck, filling trucks, driving into the black of night on that last blessed road note.

Brendan’s still sticking to his favourite Guilds and Little Jack still has a Jazz bass but White is trying something new with that Flying V

Allows for Jack to experiment with the Flying V, and Brendan to keep the backbone sound without going too far off in left field.

@@bogerr0 you act as if Jack using this particular guitar completely shifts the sound. He's been using it on his solo tours for the past year at least and plays many songs with it now.

Chris Rock said something that really hit White hard. Something to the effect of "nobody cares how you make your music, the world doesn't care that you fight your own instruments." Jack took it to heart and has been making attempts at streamlining and changing how and what he plays with (so much so to the fact that the entirety of his last album was recorded with an EVH Wolfgang guitar and almost recorded with a 5153 amp.)

@@anthonynelson1699 Maybe I'm being that guy, but I did. I love all Jack's work, but nothing he's done has really captured that visceral charm the Stripes had and I feel like the absence of Meg and now knowing that would explain it
