The reason that an emphasis on the children in question being queer near the end of the exposé is (likely) due to the fact that, in some circumstances, queer children are easier to groom. Someone I talked to a while back mentioned that a lot of this behavior *MAY* come from the individual being deeply trouble by their own trauma and abuse in the past but the problem comes in that there is no one around them to show them that the coping behavior that they're participating in (grooming other kids) is hurting people. Instead we have people to validate a lot of this out of the fear and misconception that if they don't, they're either 'shaming' someone of 'denying them the freedom to be themselves' despite thee glaring red flags around that they're being predators. The biggest reason we're at this point is because people have been made to feel guilty over slapping some sense into people and locking up actual criminals, no matter how much they bray and cry about how they're being oppressed or that they're misunderstood and special ect. What exactly is the point of 'letting people be themselves' when the reality of that is they're a fucking pedophile and the people who are ACTUALLY getting hurt from this are their victims?
