Fun Fact: The main lead "Iko Uwais" was a delivery driver who was also a practitioner of the martial arts known as "Silat". After Gareth Evans, the director, became fascinated with the martial arts, he discovered Iko and cast him as his leads in multiple movies. Iko is now a star of crime thrillers and martial arts flicks and even landed a role in The Expendables 4.

I like the Idea of the sequel being in an outdoor setting this time. The action sequences in this movie was good. But there is really so much you can do in a claustrophobic setting. Id like to see some elements of Parkour, the hero dodging obstacles in his path, more shit getting blown and shot at in the sequel. Besides, I wanna see what this director can do with vehicle chases. Now that would really be sick

people have been going nuts on the net about this shot lately but I don t really see why ...You should check out the camera work in James Wan s " Death Sentence " with Kevin Bacon in the parking chase scene if you haven t already :) Neveldine and Taylor have done more advanced stuff than this in Ghost Rider 2 as well :) and the balcony jump shot in Bourne Legacy beats that one also :)
