We lost our other DE opposite of Maxx before the season even started, we lost the DT we paid a ton of money around the fourth game of the season, our O-line played like literal trash until they moved Jackson Powers-Johnson to Center, we started Minshew, we were/are our record. Best QB available in draft. Take a year to develop him behind AOC as your bridge. Sign a WR in free agency. Draft a guard with the same skillset as JPJ i the second round. Draft a running back with their first pick in round three. Draft BPA with the second pick of round three. That's a playoff team next season in my opinion.

Raiders need a dynamic QB because it takes time to build an elite offensive line to protect a pocket passer. Raiders need to go hard for Justin Fields in the off season. Sanders and Ward are pocket passers. Gabriel is dynamic but he would still be a rookie with a learning curve to deal with. Justin Fields is the move. Draft a RB in the first round.

Why would Darnold sign with the Raiders? Jones opted to sign to the Vikings practice squad instead of signing with a team like the Raiders who were reported interested. Raiders are a bad situation. They have no running game. They wasted draft capital on players like Adams. Look at the Raiders draft history, say the last 5 years. 3 first round picks are not even on an active roster. 2 out 3 are not even in football. Very few starters. Quite a few free agents in 2025. You can't build a team via free agency. Last year they couldn't give away 3 first round picks to move up. If they try a stupid stunt like that they will be picking in the top 10 for the next 2 or 3 years. Only they won't have any draft picks. It's a salary cap league. You must manage a roster by knowing when to hold em and when to fold em.

I think they should give Aiden a 17 game schedule as the starter next year.
