I found a cost effective option to help the light duty "towner" spring this truck came with. old man emu add a leaf kit cost me less that 100 bucks and not even 1.5 hours to install.

Ford does the extra shim to make up for the weight of the gas tank. Fords like to lean when they get older.

Shimmed on the driver side to offset the fuel tank.

You'll probably get a little settling from the spring after a couple thousand miles.

Have you looked into Timbrens? Ive used those on a couple of my past trucks and they worked great!

I have, and I wanted to retain full suspension flexibility for off-roading. That's why I went this route

I hate the bags on my red 250. Constantly chasing leaks, constantly adjusting pressure. I know I could do on-board air but I just wish someone would make a half decent kit. I like running them for what I do because I can level the truck out with a load but then drop the pressure on the weekends so it’s not raked like crazy when its a grocery getter.

How many miles are on it? Curious about dependability on these trucks.

I really don't know much about them. I will do some homework
