The RAREST Coin Ever Found

Believe it or not my father found this very coin in his change a long time ago .As a coin collecter he recognised that was extremely rare from his coin book and kept it in the kitchen cupboard .Some time later the milk man came for his money and my mother gave the half crown to him , and it was gone forever ! When my father found out he was not happy , but back then didn't realise just how valuable it was .

I ran my father's pub in Tipperary Ireland and found two unusual coins, my bother lost a ring playing with my dog and there two Walsh lads camping who had a metal detector, they didn't find the ring, but found a George 111 5 pence Irish silver coin, which I still have, I opened a new bag of uncirculated 2p pieces for the till and spotted a 2p minted on a cupro nickel blanc I had that authenticated by the mint, and i still have that too.

I remember as a young child our ice cream man had a sign up in his van offering £1 for a 1952 half crown. I wonder if he ever got one!
