I had a wedding occur at the same time the Crop Fairy came in a multiplayer game with friends. This caused a bug in which I had a wedding happening at night. So a night wedding could be another rare event.

I recently played a game with the forest farm playthrough and kept the two areas with the hardwood that respawns fairly untouched and inhabited by my tapped trees and the stone owl appeared there! I think these rates of these events have been increased since this video was published. I've seen atleast two capsules and 4 owls between 2 play throughs. Both capsules in the first year on seperate playthroughs.

I don't know if that helps, but I noticed that in winter at around midnight there sometimes flies a huge black bird that seems to be an owl over my farm. It has only happend twice, but if you follow it it's gone when flying off your farm. I haven't been playing that much so I don't know if it's anything rare of could be part of this..

I know this video is 4 years old but I had to share this. My sister was playing on the PS4 and actually had the capsule spawn on her farm (idk how she got it considering all the animal coops and stables she has) she was really confused and was too scared to touch it. She was even more scared when the capsule broke. So like a good big sister, I told her an unbeatable hostile monster was loose on her farm and she could be attacked at any moment. Now she has been preparing for war. I’m a great sister :)

Adilene S - Are you sure it wasn't because the Fairy grew them all? The animation only shows it growing 1 crop, but it will still do a whole area. I bet it grew all the sunflowers right there, and that's why you figure it grew a close-to-finished crop.

I think a lot of those events became less rare with recent updates. I know I freaked out when my capsule spawned because i'd watched this video years ago, and was a little crestfallen to find out it wasn't so insanely rare, since it happened year 1 for me.

I noticed df didn't say what happens when a witch goes to a coop. Basically you will get a void egg and when you incubate it you get a void chicken. Void eggs along with void mayonnaise make good gifts for krobus. Another thing they can do is if you get the void mayonnaise and you get the dark talisman you can go up at the top right at the train station, go in and offer it to the henchman and you can get past. But if you don't want to wait for a witch just buy a void egg from krobus.
