I really wish they would make another game some day set in the same world or expand the original because I would love to learn more about the war. Why it started and why this world feels partly modern with the joja or what ever cola and partly fantasy come true with dwarves , animated skeletons , wizards and witches , etc. and slime enemies being real in this world , it reminds me a bit of Adventure Time but with out the explanation AT has. I think the capsule contains a dwarf because if you search up about the dwarves they came from a different planet. Looks weird but we honestly dont even know how dwarves actually look like since we only see them with a mask.

I have read about this in the wiki, it says that after the capsule broke, there's a 1% chance of the creature that came from it appear waving at you in the bus stop or at the town, i still don't know if it will be a cutscene or if it is like the fishman easter egg that's too subtle to notice sometimes. Actually i was watching this video hoping to see how it is, well, didn't happen :(

@@allexcilli the dark figure was introduced recently, in 1.5. and I saw it! When entering town from the direction of your farm, just below the road on the left side of the screen, I saw a full-size human-like slender figure run from the tree to the bush. I think that's the thing from the capsule.

On my first playthrough of stardew with a friend I remember getting 3 meteorites, seeing the alien on the shipping menu 3 times, digging up a dino egg early game, getting the crop fairy 3 times, and getting a void egg from a witch. The game lasted 2 years I believe, and my friend was astounded at the sheer odds of what we experienced. It was a good first experience and kept me constantly wondering what I'd see next.

Something is a secret if you have vague instructions or do a certain amount of tasks for it to happen, or if it's a random event. Trash Bear happens for EVERYONE after year 3. It's considered a main quest, therefore, not secret.

No one talks about the thing that shows up ONLY in summer near the train station. It appeared after the 1.4 update. If you go to the train station anytime during the summer, and walk all the way to the right side of the screen, there is something on the top of the train tunnel. It looks kind of like a cog, or a jewel; and no I’m not talking about the entrance to the witches area. I’m talking about the train tunnel itself.

Yeah, RNG is like that. If there's a low chance for you to see something, and it's RNG, you may spend your entire life without seeing it, or you may see it every single day even if the chances are below 1%, that's what RNG means. I mean, I have over 150 hours in Stardew Valley and I have yet to see the green dude on the ocean and the Stone Owl event. I've seen the UFO a few times too, however only once I got the Strange Capsule (and have yet to see the creature roaming near the Bus).

I've been playing since the game came out and have had most of these rare events happen. (didn't know about the capsule though!) I spent forever to try and replicate them with nothing. With Marie. I was hardly paying attention and went back in and out trying to get her to say it again and determined that it was a fever dream.

No, but if you put a staircase in your pants slot, you get the gold trimmed shorts. Which you can still put in the soup or on the display.

When in the title screen, if you click the bottom left knot a few times, you'll pick up a wooden circle, and if you then click the hole in the letter R, you'll get a funky animation (which I won't spoil) - I haven't played much so idk how many people know this :p

During my first year an owl statue appeared on my farm its pretty cool. I don't know where it came from but it doesn't do anything as far as I can tell other than I can move it around.

One secret that scared the daylights out of me was the trashcan hat one. Pulled an all nighter once playing Stardew and the freakin lid of a trashbin blew off with a loud bang.
