Fun fact or whatever in nipton if you go left of city hall you’ll find a hotel, if you go inside you may find several dead ncr soldiers lying on the ground it’s a good place to get ncr armor without the need to go through black mountain or losing karma at primm.

My first hardcore playthrough this dlc was the only one that gave me trouble. Having all your loot taken really dampens needing to drink and eat. Also i didnt have any chem perks so I was addicted to psycho and buffout the whole time. It was fun tho.

I like when games does thing like that. You are at a certain level with good equipement, then they take everything from you and you have to work your way back and once you win, you're even better than before because you got new equipement + your old equipement.

My first hardcore playthrough was as a melee survivalist build that had Them's Good Eating, so the DLC was easy and i was confused about what all the fuss was about. My next playthrough as an energy weapons setup made me understand the DLC's pain and suffering.

I’m never interested in anything that I can’t have my character use as a weapon, ammunition, armor, or aid item. But I still appreciate every detail the creators put into their creation. That being said I saw this on my first play through and picked it up, before remembering I can’t eat Embalming Fluid and dropped it.

I've always picked this up, because on the the xbox 360 it has the same glow, that Nuka Cola Quartz gives off, so I always assumed it was special.

I’m pretty sure this is also a reference to Planescape: Torment, another game Chris Avollone worked on. Embalming fluid is a semi common healing item in that game because you play as a walking corpse

Every time I play the Dead Money DLC, I make it a point to grab all the rare and unique items, but I always end up forgetting to grab these four containers of embalming fluid because I'm always running like a madman through this area of the map. It's legitimately the hardest section of the entire DLC.

@@johnknoneborg Its hard to consider 4 or 76 much of a Fallout game, but I at least enjoyed 4 as a "Fallout themed looter shooter". 76 is hot flaming garbage imo, but there were some redeeming aspects of FO4. The shooting mechanics and power armor in FO4 were some of my favorite improvements from their previous iterations

I just found something really weird and gruesome on FO4: On massachusetts state house there is an office (in the area with Raider livin in, the area is a mess but its a small room with only a desk, wich you access by a door in that area) in which you can found 3 baby-size skeleton hands in the metal file holder tray, on the desk of said office.

Dead Money isn't that bad of a DLC when you take Rawr's Talon in since it's a quest item and can't be taken away. Side note, Rawr definitely deserves a shoutout if he hasn't had one on your channel yet.

The fallout wiki references the idea that in the atomic wrangler, if you kill everybody (presumably visible and not hidden, as I have tried) except James Garret and come back, he will give a mumbling slurred line, and then no longer speak anything else. If this is true, could you possibly demonstrate it? I’ve never seen anybody else demonstrate it in any way.

I usually grab the embalming fluid. I think the ghost people use that chapel for rituals as well. I hate getting jumped in that basement by ghost people on the way to the bell tower before grabbing that hilotape/weapon mod up there and setting off the event awakening sgf drawing more attention to myself. These days I take more time gathering items so I'm more prepared for the trip to the casino with all my heeling supplies. Such a fun, but heavy DLC. I love Obsidian's challenge and balance yet accessibility in their approach to game design.

On one of my playthroughs, I was just about to head off to the Battle of Hoover Dam, and I visited just about every store in the wasteland collecting ammo. The last stop I had was the general store in Westside. I turned to leave, but had this weird pause. Maybe because I was drinking, maybe because I knew this would be the last thing I ever did in the game map, but I went back to the store clerk, ran through his inventory to pick up some random piece of junk that would make his day just a little better/more significant. Like, "hey guys, you'll never guess who came into my store that day!" I settled on a single green plate. From now on, for every playthrough, I always buy a green plate from that store. It is truly the most legendary of rare items in this game.

Idk if it was ever brought up but i know somewhere in fallout 3 is these tiny gnomes that fit on a chess board in some sort of wind turbine or something, and they have all the same stats as the normal lawn gnomes but they are super tiny, making them like little terrifying missiles in the Rock-It-launcher, like piercing rounds of doom
