I have 100% in 4. Working on 100% in 76. Then going back to 3, New Vegas and saving Shelter for last. I own them all and all the DLC. So it’s just a matter of time.

That fucking 100,000 Nuka-Cade tickets in Nuka-World. Benevolent Leader was actually stupid easy with a charisma character. The challenging part was resisting the urge to swallow a mini-nuke

I will never get over how the Benevolent Leader trophy saying you need max happiness in a “large” settlement when the most reliable way to achieve it is by having a single settler work a bar. It’s no wonder it’s the rarest trophy, cause unless you look up the strats you’ll most likely try to make a large settlement full of people and it just won’t work

Large refers to the number of items in the settlement, not the number of people

@@TheCephalon that’s also not necessarily true as the trophy can pop with just the bare necessities (~5 items), as was the case for me. Point is, “large” in the trophy description is completely irrelevant, you just need 100% happiness

The one for Fallout Shelter actually surprised me so I had to go and check something, and it turns out the PlayStation Version is for some reason missing an achievement! The Achievement being for getting 20 Legendary Dwellers, which is the rarest Shelter achievement on Steam.

When I went through New Vegas last year I planed ahead when it came to the Gun Runners Arsenal challenges. So when I went to complete “Against all Tyrants” where you have to kill named Legion members with certain weapons I figured “hey Vulpes Inculta is just sitting there in Nipton with only a few minor goons so hey one down 14 more to go.” Free tip, don’t do it! If you kill Vulpes in Nipton you will jump straight to the top of Eddie’s hit list and Legion hit squads will make your trek to Vegas absolutely miserable! They will ambush you, they will get stronger every time you beat them and the only companion you have with you will be ED-E so yeah, welcome to pain!

For the CTR trophy rarity, the answer is that there is (or was back when it came out) a large community of people who really love the time trials, Oxide, then layer Velo and Dev time trials. These people all obviously got Oxide trophy, but didn’t nesisarily do crystal challenges because NO ONE finds those enjoyable and only people who’ve ever done them only did it for Trophy. Wheras a lot of people did Time Trials for fun without caring about Plat

I agree with you as I'm sure the time trial community ate this game up... but it's only 0.1% difference between the two so to me it was odd that you got that invested in CTR, achieved the hardest trophy and then bailed 😂

All you need to do to get benovelent leader is put one settler in red rocket, or some other settler place build a stall make the settler move to the stall. Put a bit of food and build a bed and a turret. Then wait on a chair, wait a bit and sleep, repeat until 100% happines.

Add cats to your workshop using one of the workshop dlcs and it improves happiness a lot. I put Sheffield in red rocket, put food and water in the shop, and assigned him to a bar. I also added like 20 beds

Even on Steam, the achievement to kill 20 players in F76 is like 2.3% rare. I think it's because people just don't bother. There aren't many people that actually bother to 100% the Fallout games, let alone F76 which has a dedicated fanbase, but ultimately being the consensus for the worst Fallout game, even after 4 years of continuous patches, updates, and expansions. As you've mentioned you are by default in pacifist mode, and given the fact that not many people engage in combat, unless they have a specific reason or just fucking around, and even if they do engage in combat just in passing, I feel like 20 kills can't be achieved just by going through the game. Compared to Console, on Steam you actually have to do every achievement which inclues all the DLC achievements, which some of them are like 0.3% rare right now, and the majority of them are very, very grindy, so people at least on Steam just don't bother with achievements, and 20 kills is an amount that is not achieved just by going through the game, thus being a rare achievement. So those are my thoughts on it.

Yeah I just think the community ain't like that in the best way possible. It's a very friendly community and people are happy to just go about their own business which I don't mind but it would be cool if there was a place in the world that incentivized some PVP action to make this trophy/ achievement a little more natural to come by

"Eyes on the Prize" was the last achievement I got in _Fallout 4,_ having gotten every single achievement in the game on Xbox just last week. Admittedly, it was better than "Benevolent Leader" since it's pretty straightforward to farm tickets if you just play Bandit Roundup in the Nuka-Cade over and over with an Explosive legendary weapon, like Spray n' Pray. Only 0.24% of players have "Eyes on the Prize".

I did the Troglodiced Trophy for Fallout 76 by grinding out the 500 stamps then getting the 100 Trog kills then not even a week later they put the auto axe in the shop! I was so angry lmao

Artful Pickpocketer was the last trophy I needed for the New Vegas platinum and it was a bitch to get. Even with max sneak and the stealth suit I was getting caught too often. It took several stealth boys and laps around the vault on the strip to get that one to pop

I can see the one for Fallout 4 "Benevolent Leader" not being unlocked much. It seems to be very bugged. I have spent hours and hours following guides to a T to still not have it unlocked. I have started with new play through, games saves even on a different system to never have it unlock. I get up to maybe 99% and it just stops. Than it starts to go down.

I tried and tried to get All Sugared up in FO4 I’m not sure if I was doing something wrong. But i kept running around until I found groups of enemies from Nuka world then drink a unique nuka cola then take them and i could never get it to pop the achievement even though I did it to more than 40 creatures

Honestly, i have the most hours out of any game invested in the fallout series, between 3, 4, and new vegas. However, i have always opted to mod them for stability fixes and minor mod improvements like allowing you to have dogmeat and another companion. Because of this, i haven't unlocked nearly any achievements due to the fact that bethesda doesnt allow achievements if you have mods enabled. With well over 1000 hours in the franchise though, i definitely should have the platinum trophies by now.

Not remotely just you. Of secondary interest is the percentage of the rarest and the percentage platinum unlocks. Always find it really strange when there's a bunch of people who have the rarest trophy, often related to some arcane challenge, but haven't gone for the plat

I just completed New Vegas which completes all my Fallout achievements in all the Fallout games. I also completed Oblivion and Skyrim (twice). 1 away in Fallout Shelter and about halfway through 76 but I don't foresee doing all the 76 achievements.

The hardest part of getting trophies for New Vegas was dealing with the crashes. The game barely ran on PS3.

Hearing about PvP in F76 and comparing it to FOnline2 (which is Fallout 2 turned into MMO) is quite funny. In the later there's no safe place, your first job is most likely shoveling brahmin dungs and invasion of geared and aggresive players is random, but unforgettable event. That game hold no punches.

Yeah I definitely skipped a lot of the fallout games dlc trophies. I got the platinum in every single fallout but man some of those dlc trophies can kick rocks, lol. Most annoying trophies for me was fallout 4 settlement stuff, max level in fallout 76 and getting invaded by raiders in shelter because I had to specifically tank my vaults ranking because once its too high, raiders stop arriving as a threat because theyre too weak. Also dogmeat xD
