Rhaenyra only had one line but it still sent chills down my spine and the scene with her an Jace grieving over the death of Lucerys was beyond heartbreaking. Also the changing scene with Blood & Cheese was a smart move from the directors in the book it was way brutal but good lord Helaena will be carrying the guilt of this choice till her death.

In the books the action of Blood and Cheese is much worse. To quote someone’s other comment “Blood and Cheese was way more brutal in the books. When the assassins get to Helena's chambers they find Helaena her kids and Alicent and they tie her and Alicent up. They ask Helena to pick which of her sons they kill - the 6 year old Jaehaerys or 3 year old Maelor. Helaena pleads and cry for them to kill her instead. Jaehaerys was the main target from the get go (not Aemond), they only gave her the illusion of a choice to torture her. When she refuses to pick they threathen her with raping her 6 year old daughter so she picks Maelor, hoping he'd be too young to understand what is happening. Blood then whispers into Maelor's ear "You hear that boy? Your mama wants you dead" and strikes off the head of Jaehaerys instead and leaves Heleana screaming and crying” Also I’m pretty sure that it was implied that if Blood and Cheese couldn’t find Aemond, find any son Also Rhaenyra’s dragon is the mother of all her children’s dragons, so her dragon Syrax is grieving over the lose of Arrax (Lucerys‘s dragon) Great reaction you two, and talk as much as you want!

In Aemond's defense, he actually DIDN'T start the war, he just fanned the flames. Alicent lit the fire, or to be more exact, Otto lit the fire behind her back, but what Alicent thinks Viserys said on his deathbed gives Otto a convenient excuse and gives Alicent a sense of moral superiority because she believes she is following her husband's dying wish. So Aemond is right, his mother is blaming him for starting the war when in fact she is the one who started it. Aemond is still in the wrong, of course, and for all those people claiming it was an accident and he didn't mean to kill Luc, I say you don't point a deadly weapon at a 12-year-old with the intention of scaring him and then act shocked that it goes off. You don't "play" with weapons, dammit, especially not a weapon of mass destruction that has a mind of its own and is at least 150 years older than you are.

Watched it last night and man it didn’t hold anything back, I never seen the original show but I love learning about what happened before the main timeline. Do you think I should try and watch “Game of Thrones”? Don’t worry Nick, I enjoy hearing your thoughts and I love hearing you speak about it. 12:40 Aegon is too rash. All he sees is big dragons. Rhaenyra's may be smaller but she has 3 times as many at her disposal.
