The tilt sensor definitely does work. I've had my 2022 alarm go off while I had the car jacked up while swapping a rear tire.

Thanks for making this. I just picked up my 2022 Challenger and now I know how to activate my motion detection. I have OCD myself and I always hit my lock button more than once when I park it.

So I bought my Scat Pack WB like a 2 weeks ago it’s custom and brand new. Alarm system just set off twice at night. Car was parked in my garage. I was told that somebody was trying to steel my car - really?. Nobody was inside. So I went to a dealer and Told him it’s probably motion sensor maybe factory set it to sensitive. Dealer told me - hold on there’s no motion sensor inside 😂😂. Really?. Thanks for this film man.I’ll swing by to my dealer tomorrow again.

Hope this helps! I’m not sure of a way to adjust sensitivity. I’m sure it can’t be changed. I hope you find out what happened!

I don’t know how dodge engineering didn’t put a motion sensor in the back. Blows my mind. I had to get a 2nd set of motion sensors for the back installed by a alarm place near me.

Great video. I took delivery of a 2022 Scatpack wide body shaker challenger a couple of weeks ago. I am trying to get details from my dealer as to what it has and hasn't. I will do a similar test that you did to check that out. You mentioned the RF lockdown. Was that done as factory or at the dealer? My dealer knows nothing about it. Cheers from Canada... live 20 miles from the plant where they build these. Charlotte is a favourite city for me.

You find everything your car has with the Vin #. There are Mopar sites that will give you the build sheet with the Vin.

Your 2022 scat will have this feature standard on it. You can use you VIN and log into the Mopar site to get the full build specs of your car. The RF lockdown is standard on the 2022 Scat packs and up. I really appreciate you checking out the video! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Hey guys.... not sure if this is a Canadian thing only or not but here is an update for you that have a new 2022 Challenger or Charger with either the 6.2 or 6.4 engines. The RF Hub Lockdown IS NOT a factory installed thing. The "Deluxe Security Alarm" as demo'd her IS factory installed. I have tested the alarm just like RUBIX_3 did here and it works. I have just returned from the Dealership with the RF Hub Lockdown update performed. For those that do not know what this is, the RF Hub is the electronic device that communicates with your key fobs. Thefts of these cars, once they gain access to the car program a new key and are able to drive the car away. The RF Hub Lockdown prevents ANY new key from being made for your car. CAUTION... this means, if you loose your key(s) you will not be able to have new ones made unless you replace the RF Hub. If you are the kind of person that is careless with keys, consider getting a spare (or 2) made before the Lockdown is done. So, from a security I have the following: 1. I use a Faraday box to store my keys - the box is not close to the door where I park the car. 2. The Deluxe Alarm will sound if the car is jacked, lifted, glass broken, etc 3. The RF Hub is locked down 4. I have covered the VIN plate with black tape (I know it can be removed, but if they are doing this at night and it's dark it will slow them down). 5. I use Valet mode to restrict the car to Street

Great test on the alarm. I have a question on that. Does that alarm set the same if you use the interior lock switch on your way out of the door? As in, when I exit my vehicles, my thumb automatically rolls across the lock button. My keys don't leave my pocket until I get home

I haven’t tried that. I think you have to use the key fob or the lock on the handle outside of the door

Confirmed. The Interior door lock button Does set the alarm. Just verified it. Performed the same tests you did. I will say, maybe don't perform the test inside a closed garage.....it's kinda LOUD!!!

I think most alarms even, aftermarket you have to wait 30 seconds or so to set.. and with the windows it need a good bump with you fist type thing on most alarms I've seen

I found out why it didn’t go off sometimes. I have a habit of hitting the lock button multiple times. That was disabled the alarm.

All of this don't really matter these days because if you're at the mall or restaurant and somebody's trying to steal your car they will pop the hood and pull the alarm fuse and let's face it these days people don't pay attention to a honking alarm unless it's going on for a long time people just assume somebody hit it by mistake on the key fob
