I agree! I'm not wearing my glasses, so I was watching it with my nose almost pressed against the screen. And there are so many subtle other textures that look great as well. Like the seams on the shirts, the fabric of Julia's and Nathan's trousers, and those embroideries on Belle's dress. WhatAlsaid always puts in so much effort. 🤩

What a char-ming prince! So cute! What a whimsical and inviting nature! Real talk though, it feels like it would be awful to be part amphibian, part reptile, just because you would constantly be torn between requiring moisture (AKA becoming crispy under a heat lamp) and being too cold to move (by staying in water). I guess you’d just have to live in a really hot tropical climate; allow me to pitch to you Beauty and the Beast 3: We’re going to the Bahamas!

Heat lamp for the body and four tiny saucers full of water, one for each foot. And a chew toy for the mastiff head, the one element of the character design the Disney version kept even a little bit.
