You won’t see this part of Bethlehem in the media or during a trip to the Holy Land. Perhaps you have heard about the birthplace of Christ countless times, perhaps you are familiar with the Grotto of Nativity, the Basilica and the square densely packed with souvenir stores. But this is only a small part of reality of that place.
The "World" podcast wants to show you what can’t be seen there: everyday life of Palestinians in Bethlehem and its surroundings. We launched this special Christmas series to tell you more about one of the most important places in the world for Christians.
