I actually love the idea of a cult member taking Alice's camera and snapping pictures. Whatever else they are, they are still children. And when children see a shiny new toy, their first impulse is to play with it.
@Wglass90 Жыл бұрын
This is creative and more scarier than most of the Children of the Corn films combined, and it's actually amazing how realistic those pictures look. Just goes to show how far technology and A.I. has come. With that said, next to IT and The Stand, Children of the Corn is the one Stephen King story I wouldn't want to be true as real life cults are terrifying enough.
@higurashianduminekoconnect1702 Жыл бұрын
That's because it doesn't feel like children of the corn it just feels like a more real life disappearance than anything else Children of the Corn never really is made to be scary in my opinion

As much as I love the short story and like the original film (and a couple of the sequels as so-bad-there-good films), I would love to see a video trying to explain how this would even be possible. It seems impossible that even in the 70's that a cult a kids that killed their parents would go unnoticed. Did non of these people have family or friends outside of Gatlin? Wouldn't the government notice a whole town of adults stopped paying taxes? Or did the kids just keep killing all the adults that showed up, and somehow go unnoticed for decades?
@zedorian65475 ай бұрын
Perhaps “He Who Walks Behind the Rows” is exerting a force that makes it to where the events of the town are not considered important enough to really take notice. Similarly to how Pennywise makes it so that the events that take place in Derry are more or less ignored by everyone who doesnt have some sort of special protection or “Shine”.
