Great video! Thanks for sharing the costs of this lifestyle. Mark and I are always impressed that you are able to find so many amazing free places to camp. We are hoping to do that more often as well.

Greetings and salutations folks , longtime subscriber here 😊. This is beyond a shadow of a doubt, the most comprehensive breakdown of expenses on KZbin today . Direct & to the point ! The term expenses can be ambiguous depending on your lifestyle choices. As a full-time Nomad off-grid guy, we're in the same lane ( pun intended ) . Great job ! You should be charging for this valuable information 😂... please be safe on your journeys ❤

It's official, your comment just made our day. We truley apprecaite you support and taking the time to comment is an added bonus. Sharing where we spend money in such a public way is not easy, but at the same time, it is somewhat freeing. I think so many times some channels either use fear or glamorize this lifestyle and we hope to just be honest and transparent. Thank you---- We love our Nomad Community- Wander On- Kyle and Michelle

Didnt make it to the premier as I was watching the press conference. Interesting video. So sorry you two are still dealing with some truck issues. Your monthly expenses really seem to mirror what Angie and I spent when we were out on the road. If I might make a suggestion?? I just got an email from Jeremy at the BLM Office in Moab. They are still looking to fill a couple camphost positions for this fall. It certainly does not pay anywhere near what you two made doing the gate guarding, but it would give you a place to sit for a couple months, make a bit of cash, and honestly, we really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next video! Sean & Angie

Thank you for being real with what it's like to be on road full time. Gives a real perspective of what fulltime camping can cost. We thought and continue to figure out how to travel on the road. We have only been camping for 3 years so far. We are newbies. We just part time camp at this point but want go on road more just not completely full time. We enjoy your videos and started watching when you posted about gate guarding. We are thinking of doing that but health insurance and a couple if debts we have left to pay off before we can do that. Loved your video.

Andy and Shari, thank you so much!!! We make every effort to give an honest account of what this lifestyle is like. It does have some anxiety associated with sharing such a personal side of things for the world to see, but we have gotten such great feedback (your comments are an prime example). Glad you found our gate guarding video and stayed with us. I think you will likely see some more videos down the road on that topic as well, as we are likely to do it again at the start of next year. We have a loan on our 5th wheel and truck because the interest rates were very favorable at the time. We are paying them very aggressively at $2K per month. Without those loans which we could pay off today if it made sense, we spend around 2K per month over the last 3 years. Maybe call it $2500-3000 to account for insurance and maintenance pops. This year has been our first maintenance shake down with about 4K in "surprises".

Jeremiiah, sounds like your monthly expenses are around the same as ours. Just as I got notificaiton of your comment I was editing our August 2024 video that will come out on Wednesday, I hope you will check it out. We are much more on budget in August. We did the same (paying down) our truck payment when we hit the road, it was such a relief to get out from under those extra payments. Thanks for your time- Kyle and Michelle.
