Sorry to be a massive pendant but....... Its not FAD or FAD No 2 Dress, its Service Dress or No 2 dress. FAD was just the name it was given whilst it was phased in, it was a short term name for the changeover, but that was over a decade ago and some people are still hanging onto its name. So what you have are two sets of No2 Service Dress, one old style, and one new

Aha ! 😄 ..thanks so much for the info !! These are sold as FAD.. I always just knew them as a No.2 Service Dress !! I have about ten of them in all ! lol.. love the different ranks that I have.. some of them have some serious medal ribbons on them too from the Paras that wore them !
