Masayuki is definitely the luckiest character in the series (LN readers know the real reason why he's called the luckiest 😉) but the anime did a good job of showing why at this point his luck is backfiring a bit because everyone keeps throwing him into a situations like spreading the idea that he intends to kill Rimuru... When in reality he doesn't want to do any of that 😅 guy thinks he's gonna just escort some elves and now is getting thrown into a potential conflict with Rimuru 😅 if Rinuru wasn't so nice, Masayuki might've been purged by the combined team of Souei Diablo and Shion 😅
