Of course they're edited. Would you watch every second of a 3:45 hr. flight, followed by another 2-3 hr. flight? This is the reality, however. Julia is portraying the job absolutely accurately. The very early mornings, the extremely long days, the fatigue...it's all true. Plus, no pay for delays, ground stops, etc. FAs are only paid once the aircraft is under its own power, so a 15 hr. day could result in 7 hrs. pay. That's the part people don't know. I worked as a FA for 43 years before my retirement in March. Julia is positive and upbeat and doesn't let the exhaustion show, like the consummate professional she is. That we all are!

Be careful going out alone in Mexico, better to go with someone. It’s getting worse with cartel. Just so you know, Mexico is notorious for the sugar they use, that’s way your orange juice was so sweet. Would like to know where you get your Kaui K- cups. Can’t find any. Be safe!! 🌹

Hi Julia!! I'm a high school student in Michigan, and I've really been wanting to become a flight attendant. I often find myself throughout the day thinking and dreaming about this occupation. Every time you upload, I always get super excited to see what a day is like for being a flight attendant:)!! I find the whole job so fascinating; I get extremely happy when I think about how my life is going to be when I become one. I just adore every single aspect about the job!! I do know there are quite a few downsides to everything, but I am 100% willing to do what it takes to get this job. I had a question in mind, I apologize for getting kind of off topic, I even had to delete a whole bunch of sentences because I was rambling about it all..oops.. Anyway! I was wondering if maybe you had any advice? Any advice at all helps! (even a very quick simple pros and cons list!) Mexico City would be cool to explore but it sounds like a place you better be super careful, too. Weather can cause new and exciting problems for travel for sure. I actually know what deadheading(you flying as a passenger to get you where you are supposed to be) is thanks to channels like yours and Stellas. The be a palm tree thing is a good and realistic way to look at everyday life since we are not Gods and are subject to everything that happens anyhow.

Do you want to do something new? Since you are a flight attendant and you're packing all the time, I have a suggestion. Why don't you show us your audience how to pack tightly but lightly for a trip using a 3-day trip versus a 5-day trip as an example. I used to work for another major airlines, so I traveled quite extensively. But with covid out there, I'm more hesitant to travel. But when I'm willing to get on a flight I want to pack tighter and lighter, so I can reduce my exposure in the airport. So doing a video on that might be interesting for your audience. Eric can of course show us how a man would pack, and you would show how a woman would pack, tightly and lightly!

I think your scratchy eyes and stuffy nose might be the altitude in Mexico? I experienced that in Bogota; in fact, I lost my voice during the layover, plus a sore throat, both of which had cleared up by the next morning. Environmental for sure

Have a feeling part two is going to be a real adventure! Mermelada is pronounced like Merr (like the start of Merry)-may-la-da. Merr-may-la-da. One thing that might have affected you is the poor air quality in CDMX. When I traveled there in December, the smog was the worst I have ever seen it (flying in). You don't see it from on the ground, but you will notice the smell / see it when you blow your nose :(

Hi Julia! I'm surprised that you do not have fresh seedless green grapes in your bag, for snacking; they'll keep for up to 5 days. In addition, packaged white raisins are also a must carry; they come in small boxes. For an occasional allergic reaction...Benadryl is recommended, but just don't over use it because it will make you drowsy and will put you into "deep sleep". Tail winds!

Tip- when making rice, couscous or similar grain that "sucks" up the liquid that it's cooked in- use broth/other flavorings as it will add flavor to what you're cooking.
