I think Markus gets way more respect today than he got back then. He’s physic was off the charts. Not like anything we had known before. Nice guy also - I never met him personally but a old school buddy of mine, a Dutch IFBB pro by the name of Ed van Amsterdam, told me that. He also admired Ruhls physic and knew him a bit.

Markus Ruhl is the true definition of freak and mass monster and amazing conditioning for his massive size. Markus is one of my favorite bodybuilders. The only flaw in my opinion would be his triceps and maybe that's what hurt his scoring.

No, the funny thing is what are all those hard works resulted in. People always use hard work as a scapegoat. Hard work for WHAT? Turning yourself into a freak? That's the illusion freak building always have on themselves. They think because they put in "hard work" and turn themselves into a muscle monster, they deserve recognition, and that other people who discredit them are just jealous because "you can't have these muscles even if you wanted to because you don't work as hard as I do" No the truth is Nobody want that stupid look, only muscle freaks love it.

I don't know you but i'll tell you something mate, I am sick and tired of people who talk shit about people who take fitness seriously and dedicate there lives to it. You could never understand the kind of hardship these guys have to go through each day , you would never make it to there level. I bet if this was a vid with fat women and how they are happy in there fat bodies you would be all like, oh you go girl, good on you, you have sexy curves, you're not fat. These body builders represent what hard work really is, decades of lifting and dieting , steroids only open the path, they do nothing if you sit on your ass all day eating shit. Maybe if you went down the gym and trained seriously you might have a little respect for these people.
