I'm in Tewksbury all the time, I can't believe I never heard of Tessi's. That looks like the roast beef's Royal in Eastie used to be known for. Sadly the quality has gone way downhill since that place reopened.

Help me out with this sauce. When I first saw a north shore beef, I knew that was exactly where Arby's comes from. It looks awesome. Michael, you refer to this as "bbq sauce". Is this actually a bbq sauce or something more sweet and tangy like we would get with an Arby's roast beef? I seriously need to plan a trip to Boston for the sole purpose of trying this thing.

As you should All legit north shore beefs use James River BBQ sauce Perfect mixture of tangy and sweet It’s delicious and traditional here

Mike. The sandwich looked good but how can you taste the beef with all that bbq sauce. This is a problem that I have with the RB joints.

You could always ask for light sauce But drowning it will only cover it Plenty of meat to taste

My brother lives in Beverley and brings up beef sandwiches. Never had the gravy on the beef. I’ll try it.
