The foundation to promised to free the loopers and the zero point at the beginning of chapter 3. As far as I see it the story ended after collision and all the loopers were sent back to their respective realities. The game we have now is the loopers/snapshots that decided to stay

There was a Twitter post from Mustard that said he "had to had to have Bri Larson as Paradigm". I found it odd that he said "had to" twice. Like he was hinting that he "HAD TO", as in he was forced. I think Epic got too big for their britches and forgot about the charm of Fortnite as it's own thing. They could've had collabs AND kept their identity. 🤷‍♂️

Epic Games's new CCO being Charlie wen is in definitely good hands. I've known Charlie wen for awhile now and as far as I can tell, he's great at what he does. Being the sole creator of Kratos in GOW and helping make the OG MCU is awesome.

Yay, someone who had nothing to do with Fortnite and whose biggest accomplishment has to do with Marvel, the most oversaturated IP in history. Hopefully this means way more Marvel collabs and a storyline that's just like Marvel. Fortnite lost it's identity years ago, so may as well lean all the way into this.

Same thing happened in the lead in for chapter 4. Steamy stacks and I would assume many more previous places were supposed to be on Chapter 4. Yet it never happened.. and neither did Midas returning. Guess that makes sense now.

I know it's hard to believe but I beleve UEFN and how Epic is treating it is what drove him to quit. Epic didn't just think "wouldn't it be cool if we let everyone create?" but instead said" Wow Roblox made how much in 2021 and 2022? Hold my beer...". Now anyone with half a brain and experience with Roblox knows what is about to happen. Elsagate on Fortnite Creative basically. IP Theft and Clickbait running wild, deception and toddlers pouring in onto the platform in droves ripping off everything under the sun. UEFN has created a community of creators driven purely by greed and doing whatever it takes to make as much as possible whether they have to lie, steal and cheat to do it. Mustard saw what was coming and decided he didn't want a part of it.

Creative is the worst thing to happen to Fortnite. LTM's were amazing and quality, as they were designed by Epic themselves. Now we have a bunch of amateurs with inferior tools making broken and glitchy maps. Quality will always be better than quantity. Epic will never make LTMs like they used to, because they want to force everyone to play these half baked creative maps.

@@John6-40creative back when it first came out was amazing, I will never forget the hype that the first zone wars and deathruns maps had, and they were actually fun because they were passion projects not just soulless cash grabs. Now it’s all about how much money and retention can be made from the discovery tab.

I think the reason he left was because he knew what was in store for the future of Fortnite. The story was going on the back burner along with BR while Epic focus on getting the players (creative) to keep the game alive. The recent email about the employee layoff's are just that, along with concerts pretty much dying and live events now becoming incredibly sparse etc. I hate to say this as I've spent a lot of time and money (4k) on this game but I think that this game started dying around midway through the current chapter.

not sure i agree with this take, with donald’s position, surely he could easily have stepped in and outright declined proposals to include celebrities in the main set of characters? what I’m saying is, one would imagine that the creative director would get to decide what does/doesn’t happen within the story, regardless of finance asking him to change things
