Dragon feels like a character who was introduced entirely too early. Like you can tell he's strong, you can tell he's important but he's like a guy gearing up to fight the final boss while the heroes are still in the mid game. Garp directly said that Dragon was Luffy's father, which implies that he's been a male since birth. I'm not really a big fan of crocodile or Dragon being originally female, because ivankov said he knew the past secret about crocodile but if he's the one who made him a man then he is a part of the secret not just knows about it so I don't think crocodile or dragon have ever been anything more than they appear to be. My theory is that Dragon is Xebec's son. Garp adopted him, when he and roger fought Xebec. Then later, dragon fell in love with Garp's daughter. Another proof is that Garp always says to luffy that you are the son of my child. He never mentions which child... Which means dragon is his son in law. I Like the Air logia theory if he was an admiral prior and it makes the most sense especially since all (original) admirals are logias. But the idea of his DF being a ThunderBird of native American Mythology would make sense due to his appearance being similar to that of a native American with his tattoo (and ohara even compared to shandorians which are modelled off native american culture). His hair even has an eagles peak and in the flashback with Ivonka she mentions how Dragon always faces the same way and that some animals have a homing instinct. Garp has to be “See no Evil” because the whole theme of the marines since the beginning has been turning a blind eye to corruption between the Shichibukai and Celestial Dragons. It's also nice to see three different generations of a family and how they dealt with the world they were born into. Garp joined the marines, probably young and idealistic and probably wanted to protect the weak. Dragon became a revolutionary even becoming the leader realizing change doesn't come through the system. Luffy becomes a Pirate to become the person with the most freedom, The Pirate King. I think they'll all have their role in the end.

I really like the theory that Dragon is Rocks' son and Garp is Luffy's maternal grandfather. It's known that Dragon is Luffy's father, and Garp is Luffy's grandfather, but no one has ever referred to Dragon as Garp's child. That's the main argument I have against the super off the wall theory about Ivankov. If Dragon were Luffy's mother I think that would still be considered a huge black mark against Garp that would get him kicked out of the Navy (at the very least). I guess you could argue that Garp's reputation within the Navy is so strong that no one ever calls him on it, but you would think that someone like Akainu would have brought it up at some point that Garp's son/daughter is the worst criminal alive. But I don't think that's true. Garp wanted Luffy to be in the Navy and yet he never raised him like he did Coby and Helmeppo. Why? I think it's because Garp knew even he could not protect Luffy if people knew he was Dragon's son. I think the only reason Garp is still in the Navy is because Dragon is only his son by marriage. Anyone directly connected to Dragon is too dangerous to the World Government. That's why Luffy ends up getting stashed with Ace instead of being directly raised to be an officer.

The scars or anything on the left eye for the most part is for looks. Pirates usually wear eye patches but in one piece not one pirate has an eye patch, so Oda puts scars or tattoos next to that eye instead.

The fact ODA emphasized the rain stopping and starting both times he attacked, makes me think it's a Water water fruit. This would make sense why he's most wanted if the Theory of Im being mythical mermaid fruit and having water manipulation powers. He is only one that can counteract IMs effects. All weather is caused my fluctuations in moisture in air. So you can create thunder or windstorm easily. Storm storm fruit is too simple for Goada

I wouldn’t be bothered by Dragon’s tattoo if Garp or Luffy had a tattoo on their body, but since Dragon is the only person in the Monkey family to have tattoos on their body it makes no logical sense as to why Dragon having a tattoo but Luffy and Garp not having one.

About the face tats? I was dissapointed of Manu's remark regarding the very topic. Just to inform you, here in Borneo, Dayak Tribes use Face Tats as a sacred symbol. And i found out in the comment, some fans from NZ that felt uneasy upon hearing what Manu said. I think he should educate himself, travel more and see the world and learn the tradition. Because, face tats isn't just a drunk's man bad choice of life or "a sign of losing control over someone own self" in other part of world, this is a religious thing. Have a respect.

Dragon's (and shandorians of course) facial paint/tattoos have always reminded me of the Yanomami tribe in specific. They're an indigenous tribe that lives in the Amazon, the biggest in number to survive to this day.

Correction: in our dub Luffy is not named Rubber but he is called rubber by everyone because it is his pirate"surname"(to appeal to children since in Italy we almost always thought that animation=children show). Our intro says: "Monkey D. Luffy, called Rubber,...."

I think something important, Kuma sent the strawhats to places because he was working for the army at the time. I bet he sent robin to the army because if were honest, anywhere else wouldn't have been safe enough for her, chick would get recognized and hunted down in a heart beat no matter where she went except a random remote country that just so happened to be getting helped by the revolutionary army at the time. I think that Crocodile had uh....fun times with Ivankov....and then regretted it after learning ivankov can change his/her gender at will.

not sure if you mentioned this, but another reason why he did not refer to him as his son, could be that they're not biologically related, and he merely related through marriage. and for the theory of crocodile being a parent, he could be Luffy's mom, or if that theory is incorrect, another theory i heard is Imu being Luffy's mom instead, not sure if you mentioned this one before!

I sort of doubt the daughter theory on the basis that people at marineford were surprised that Luffy was Dragon's son because the only people saying this were low tier vice-admirals and captains who were probably new to the the Navy. You never see any of the older marines and admirals being surprised when they announce that Luffy is Dragon's son.

About the tattoo thing, I actually have a fun headcannon that when D's people had an angsty episode that made them unbalanced and changed their life, they'll get a tattoo when no one's stopping them. I mean, Law's tattoo? disregarding DEATH on his fingers and the artistic side, we all know the tattoo on his back is for Corazon, Heart. Ace? Cough, ASCE with S crossed just like S for Sabo in their childhood pirate flag, and then Whitebeard's symbol. Then there's Dragon, we don't know yet about this but it's obviously an important mark.

Kuma is the symbol of power of the celestial dragons. He was one of the strongest and most free people in the world. A king of a stong nation. They took him and made him a weapon, a servant and in the end a toy. The ultimate tragedy, only to boast their dominance to the rest of the world. But he dedicated his life to the change of the world, the revolution. Not everyrhing he went through was in vain. He has not lost hope, but he sacrifised himself completely. The gentle kuma became the robot weapon pacifista. Bonnie is probably his child which he left behind

I’m sure we’ll get into that during the next arc when Luffy has to save Sabo and Revolutionaries retrieve Kuma. I theorize it has something to do with the Celestrial Dragons & Goroseis opposing kings who don’t come under their umbrella. So Kuma became Shichibukai to somewhat ally himself with the WG to protect his country from the threat that King Cobra now faces. Him becoming a PX was obviously hidden from the Revolutionaries, it was something privately worked out between Kuma & Gorosei.

What if Ryuma defending Wano against a "dragon" was actually not a dragon per say but against a celestial dragon (but though the passage of time the story was transmitted as a real animal dragon instead of dragon the celestial ones? Thus, ryuma's crest/tatoo being a representation of "defending Wano against the celestial dragons" which is what does Monkey D. Dragon and is inspired, could be why he decided to tattoo it? Ryuma slicing a celestial dragon, let's admit it, would be helluva badass. And that is frankly what we all have been hoping someone does all through the manga. Lol when you think of it, in Shabaody Zoro came close to slicing a dragon :))

She is looking for his pet, a mouse named "Chuji". - Momonosuke seems to grab the clouds created by Kaidou and pull them. - Queen can use all the attacks of the members of Germa 66, including Sanji's invisibility. - Sanji responds to Queen's invisibility with high-speed movements. - Geisha Osome enters the battle zone looking for Chuji. - After the death of Komurasaki (Hiyori), Osome was for Queen his favorite geisha. - Queen tried to "hire" her services many times but it seems that Osome did not accept. Now Queen attacks her by taking advantage of his invisibility. - Sanji uses a combination of "strength + high speed + exoskeleton + haki with "weaponry traits"" to create a powerful fire attack. - The name of the attack is 魔神風 (Demonic Wind?). - Sanji then strings together a series of attacks and ends with one called "Beef Burst".
