I find it ridiculous that players aren't able to make money doin stuff like just making KZbin videos and spreading joy to other people when the NCAA THEMSELVES would be NOTHING without these athletes. And they are EXPLOITING these same athlete's likeness. It's just ridiculous man. ENDLESS respect to Donald for taking the road he took and continuing to be a pioneer in the fight against the NCAA man... ish crazy.

The reason they can't pay college players is because it would be difficult for the NCAA the regulate... There are a few schools that have lots of money/wealthy alums. This would make the colleges able to buy/pay for the best players, and smaller colleges would never have a chance to compete or grow. Also the same would be true for Jr.colleges......and a few other reasons.i played college basketball and we did get a perdium when we traveled out of town and we got money every week called laundry money, this was also 25 years ago, we got 65.00 a week.

NCAA is so unfair. This is a man that's trying to make videos that have no negative posture or videos that don't have any type of important information about him all we know is he's a football player that that makes KZbin videos and that wants to inspire us kids. Bro this is just Unfair that's all I got to say
@noahnejad33987 жыл бұрын
NCAA is fair. They might make millions of dollars of these kids, but still, they can give a LOT of kids full ride scholarships that are worth thousands of dollars. He knew the rules, and was warned. He knew he could lose his full ride scholarship. He knew he could not have played football and had a free education, but he decided not to. It was ignorant and selfish of him but I love Donald's videos, and if it makes him happy go for it, but he knew what was happening. He knew also that he was going to lose the scholarship if he makes the videos or whatever so he could have stopped. He made videos, lost his scholarships, and then now he's asking for money to pay off his college. Bite me

R-Truth they were controlling the content and his image and likeness... Thats way out of bounds... This is someone with the potential to be a professional at what hes is doing in football and vid making. To force change or chose in the matter is not right. What you do as a man is as unique as your finger pints. Espescially a sports where you risk life and limb for the worlds entertainment. Your body takes the punishment but you gain no material wealth in exchange at the college level. Its a shame. We gotta stop supportin slavery.

You really need to do a detailed explanation as to why you still want to get a degree, what your degree is, and how it will help you achieve your goals in life. Here's how I see the situation. You made a tough decision to sacrifice a college scholarship to pursue your passion making KZbin videos. Which is 100% fine by me. Pursue what you're passionate about. I'm with you. But now you're a KZbinr. So why should I, or anyone else, donate money so a KZbinr can get a college degree? There are plenty of other KZbinrs out there who have made it as well as those who are still trying to make it whose channels and content are quality and are doing just fine. So why are you in need of a degree? Because with your decision, you made it very clear that you value your KZbin career over getting a college degree. I support your decision to do KZbin, but I don't see why you think you are in a position to ask for college money in comparison to every other teen who has gone through struggles and desires to obtain a college degree. Unless you think every teenager should get on gofund me and ask for college money?

They care more about controlling a player's income than whatever crime they commit. Additionally, they would make less money if a company could just deal with a player directly instead of through the NCAA. Sports leagues are in the business of monopolizing talent. Nothing more, nothing less. Everything is designed in a way to essentially own a man as legally as possible. All in the name of greed.
@m.t.morrison27266 жыл бұрын
It is completely insane that they did this. You did the right thing. The only way a bad person, institution, rule, or law can ever be removed from having power over individuals; is by people like yourself standing up for not only themselves but for all of those that were treated wrongly in the past and will be abused in the future. The NCAA is just another institution that is ruled by greed and is blind to progress. Please continue being a positive example and role model throughout you life following your convictions and not become jaded by the hypocrisy you will encounter in life.

That’s CRAZY man! Smh they really want every athlete to just be another broke student while they monetize every moment of you being there! Makes absolutely NO SENSE! You pushed thru it tho so it’ll all work out in the end and your success will be 10x. Plus it builds strength and character.

I wish I could donate to help you but am currently not able. I love the videos and your personality, keep grinding and doing what you love. Happiness is key in life and you need to do what makes you happiest. I am sure you'll be successful on KZbin and in life. Best of luck Man, stay humble.

Stay strong bro! You are more than likely an Israelite (if your fathers father “black, latino, and native Americans” whom were slaves via trans Atlantic slave trade) Follow the law statues and commandments and watch TMH continue to bless you! Qam Yasharahla!

This country works on contract law. As soon as you signed with that school and for that scholarship, you gave the contractors(the school) permission to tell you what you could and could not do and to enforce the restrictions put on you whether you knew all the restrictions or not. My mother used to tell me and my brothers to know the laws of the country we lived in. The same applies for everything you join whether it's a school, job, or whatever. It's all a contract of some sort if you have to sign. You either adhere to the terms or suffer the consequences. You chose to suffer the consequences. Not sure that was a great idea for you but remember I wrote this. Good luck.

►►►► PLEASE GO BACK TO SCHOOL ◄◄◄◄ What is certain = you had a very valuable asset (college scholarship). What is apparent = you had a very good relationship with your coaches & athletic department. What is possible = you could get back on the team, and regain your scholarship. I applaud your entrepreneurial spirit, but there are much better strategies available. ►►►► PLEASE GO BACK TO SCHOOL ◄◄◄◄

Hey. Who here enjoyed dee’s videos? But who here is still complaining? He made the ultimate decision to choose his KZbin career instead of his NCAA career. And you know what? I respect him for whatever choice he makes. If people don’t like his decision to earn these much fans, and love, then let’s see your kicking skills.
@bricebode21083 жыл бұрын
It’s unfortunate that this happened to you and now even more so with the new NCAA ruling allowing athletes to make money just like you were. It would be interesting to hear what an attorney has to say about this! Best of luck to you!

The NCAA wrong for tht because u are a very very talented person not just in football but as a person, and u could've had a chance to be in tha NFL, but tht wasn't nothing u could do about tht was just them tripping bout their strict rules.
