I smoked from the ages 15-22. I'm 23 now. I couldve been super productive while on that loud, but I chose not to. I literally rotted away and didn't do anything productive. I would tell myself that I would smoke it for medicinal benefits, but that was an excuse to not tend to my mental health the correct way. I now only smoke socially, I'm an office administrator, and I'm currently on meds for my mental health. I'm reading more too, writing more, and prioritizing myself more.

i actually needed carrington specifically to tell me this. his story just feels so much more relatable than any other stop smoking story

i'm glad your story is actually realistic. there's this common misconception that in order to want to quit or have the motivation necessary, you have to hit rock bottom. it's completely untrue and keeps a lot of people stuck on it because they'll think to themselves, "oh well why bother even quitting? it's not like it's even a big problem for me," which is a ridiculously harmful mentality because that's the kind of mindset leads to serious addiction personally, i smoke daily and don't see a need to quit. i have adhd and anxiety, so it's strictly medicinal for me. i enjoy getting high, and thankfully because of my circumstances, cannabis really just levels me out and allows me to focus on individual tasks like schoolwork and personal responsibilities without jumping between a million different things in my brain or getting a ton of anxiety and deciding to just lay down or play video games to forget about my issues. then again, i do have a doctor's recommendation for cannabis use so it's a little different for me than it is the average consumer. nonetheless, i really liked this video and i absolutely agree with all of the points you make!

yea man im trying to stop and its not hard or anything or atleast i try to tell myself that. when you said i stopped cause i want to stop being a lower functioning version of myself i was like bro same. when i smoke dat cartnite i smoke it casually but the times that i do i start to realize the lower functioning version of myself and it kinda sucks. i've always tried to ignore it and kinda just brush it off thinking that it doesn't effect me as a person in the present/future but after watching this it made me realize its something i shouldn't be ignoring. there are so many other things i related to while watching this banger too that seriously made me realize what i've been doing wrong in terms of smoking dat mary jaejae watt. thanks for making this video and bringing out some of my thoughts that i forced myself to bury away that were keeping me from quitting. i actually feel like i can quit now without having the urge to do it casually or at all. so glad u a chillass dude thanks bro dont stop uploading here i love watching ur vids.

Bro, your conversation style is very much like mine and I have bad adhd to the point I cannot function highly without being medicated for it because my mind jumps around all the time I am hyperactive as well with all of the energy. ADHD also causes al lot of anxiety so I give you props for confronting anxiety by posting on social media... The ADHD brain also causes you to self medicate and it makes your ADHD worse! I'm way older than you but I'm in recovery from much stronger drugs than weed but I will say the first drug I tried and started using weed, I don't desire any drug since being treated for ADHD (sometimes I forget to take my meds even and then I'm all over the place or hyperfocusing on something that doesn't matter). You're taking some pretty dope steps it sounds like, I do recommend that you get tested for ADHD and seek treatment even if you won't take meds and it'll help you be productive and you think more fluidly and communicate more effectively, etc. There are totally non-narcotic treatments for it now too!

I've been thinking about quitting or cutting back but I usually just do it before the gym or practice the gutair. I don't just lay in bed high. I don't think it's good to be high all the time for sure, time and place. Being high at work or school is possible but it kills your high because you gotta do shit you don't want to and you're not on your A game.

I'm that person that I can get any job because I don't like not having a purpose. like I wanted to help animals so instead of applying online I did its old fashion I showed my face and I chat with owners and told them. Yeah, I am looking for a job if you are looking for someone that is wanting to work let me know, because I am a hard worker and fast learner, and it helps with leveling up and that's how I got a job as an intern as a vet assistant. I walked in and they needed someone, and they were desperate and now a days that is what small business owners want they want someone that they can count on, so keep that in mind. anyone is worthy of getting that job they deserve just have to find the right time also if someone offers you a job say manager role go for it because it's good and that person believes that you can do it based off of the determination that you have don't doubt yourself. You can do it. Just do it.

unrelated but he's the kind of guy that's so attractive but he knows he's attractive so it makes him less attractive because you know so many other people want him so you look at yourself and realize you're ugly and it would be embarrassing to even think you have a chance with him when you're not even close to his level of attractiveness.... also the video says 420 likes lol

Hopefully, it's ok if I repurpose this message to fit my needs rn because I don't smoke, and I don't hate people or the idea of smoking; it's just a choice I have made, but what I got out of this video is to get rid of the factor that is holding you back from reaching your highest potential at the moment and for me that is gaming. Like you said, you don't hate smoking, and for me, I don't hate gaming, and I don't hate that version of myself because gaming has really shaped who I am today. But where I am now and where I want to be, gaming is the factor that is holding me back. I say this because I work a 9-5. I don't have a lot of free time for growth, and I used to use it all for gaming when I got back home. This is not to say gaming can't help you grow in some ways, but it isn't helping me grow in the areas that I want to grow in right now. So my resolve for 2024 is to give up gaming for now. And this is not giving up gaming forever because it is a big part of me, it's so I can achieve the things I want to achieve by the end of the year. I think being able to give up something that had a big control on my life will help me regain that control so that in the future, when I game again, but have something more important to do, I can prioritize that first before gaming. Anyway, this is not to preach, just my personal interpretation and how I will use this message to reach my goals. Love the video, and keep them coming.
