@trappedbymath645 I don't prefer either of these two options. At least when you die from rats, you do get some exp throughout the raid. Also, they should totally randomize entry and exit. The entry should be totally random by avoiding dropping players too close to each other and exit should be marked on some sort of map you carry with you.

What makes something satisfying is being to put focus into it and achieve something out of it. Some of my best raids have been going out somewhere, watching an area like an eagle on the prowl, then when you see the glimpse of movement, lock in, heart racing, go through calculations and situations in your head in how you want to deal with the target, whether it is one guy or 3, then executing it. You spend 30 minutes sitting in one spot, you shot 1-10 bullets on 1 to 5 guys, and you pull the most crisp one taps in the process all the make it out with mad loot and they never even knew you existed. To the people who died, it looks so cheesy, but to the people who actually did it, the mental fortitude you have to go through to literally be patient as shit and not fuck up when opportunity shows itself. I particularly myself like to go sniping more than simply sitting in some corner, but like in the end it's all the same. Just cause you ratting somewhere, doesn't mean you are impervious.

I've stuck into a raid into the last 10 minutes just to have to kill another dude while I'm looting the other guy 5 minutes later. It's never good to assume you the only one left or that nobody is going to show up.

Let's be cold buddy. Most of players in this game are searching a qualitative gunfight; a hunt that last enough to can't know the end of it until the last half-second. Adrenaline - Dopamine funk. My last was around 2018 and it was at a time when playing Tarkov like Unreal Tournament was popular among streamers. BSG took various decisions against it and i saw lastly the Arena's concept materializing it to the bone, in an effort to make everyone happy. So i registered to ETS to get back at hunting, instead shooting panzers flying from everywhere like a ball trap session. It was quite calm in general, but qualitative fights were there, and it don't suffered from an intense cheat activity (2019 was awful). I losted my access to ETS (not enough hours per day i guess), so i stopped to play EFT for years. And if i don't play ETF, i just don't play any game. It's really the game i was waiting for since the 90's. Lastly (this year), i'm back at it. And obviously the trend changed in favor of the game-style you're showing here. But with a little variation : when you're not farming high flow paths, you're engaging to face the calculated risks you take. We can engage a debate on the risk delta VS the (real) spanlife spended to wait, but that's not my point here. Most of the time your inspiration push the low profiles players to break others gunfights, not to engage their own plainly like sometimes you're showing it. In all honesty, i prefer this "streamer's rules" situation than the previous one, but it limit as hell your margin for gunfights. At the moment you start to engage, you have maybe a maximum of ten seconds before all rats around come "ratting" closer. The more laughable point is that it don't create a point of tension, a couple of friends shown me that rats stay in circle around the smoking fresh meat ... to wait the first to loot. Nonsense. It's not a rant or anything, i'm just showing the other side of the mirror on a long term point of view.
