Jesse was the reason why I started watching Chicago Fire, 'cause I liked him as Chase a lot back then in House M.D. Not gonna lie, I just finished watching episode 10x05 and the ending scene made me cry. I hope he'll come back one day, but mostly I hope no one else of the original group will leave either, I'm still coping with what they did with Otis 😭

I was disappointed in the leaving of Jesse on the show. NO big farewell at molly's from his firehouse buddies.. His parting seemed rather cold to me for someone that's been a big part of Chicago Fire since 2012. Farewell and best of luck in your future. Hope we see new exciting faces with the same drama, and caring that the old show has brought to us for so many years.

I agree....he had a strong buddy relationship with Severide. I am sure he will return to be Severide's best and. I am sorry that Jesse is leaving ....he's an integral part of the show. He will be missed.

I looked up a KZbin clip of Jesse on Chicago Fire and before I played it tried to guess if he used his Australian accent or went with an American. I guessed that since he was known for his role in House MD there’s no way he would go with an American accent, no one would believe it. I guess I was wrong.

I used to watch that show as well as Chicago Med and Chicago PD with my mom. We haven’t watched it in so long though. We didn’t lose interest in the shows it’s just we never really found time to watch them. I’m sure we’ll watch all 3 once they finish up and come out on DVD. Matt Casey was a great character and I totally ship him with Gabby. I was actually very devastated when they divorced. My mom and I still watched the show when that happened and I didn’t wanna believe it because they were such an adorable couple. I hope they reconciled at some point. They’re my Chicago Fire OTP!

I have watched all three, FD, PD, and Med from the beginning. Other actors have left the shows, and the show's survived. One actor doesn't define a show, we all have our favorites. As long as the networks continue to sign them on season after season, and the ratings are good the show's will continue. With Matt and Brett it was turning into a soap opera. I love the action, and suspense of the one Chicago.
