We all have faults and find ourselves in tough situations with tough decisions to make at times. It's just about how you handle each situation that makes the difference. I'm also a believer that you never allow another person to determine or control your level of happiness. That you are never responsible for another person's actions. Sometimes divorces are necessary. It's much more sane to get a divorce that to harm the other person. I'm not questioning their reason for the divorce. This is going to be ugly and sad no matter what the real facts are. When issues like this come up, emotions run painfully deep. But what makes this worse are all of those who have opinions or something to say about something that they actually know nothing about. It would be different if we all knew the Currys personally. However the most that most of us know about them is what we see on televisions yet many are taking sides and giving advise. Some of the best advice I ever received was from one of my elders when I was growing up. He heard me talking about something that I had heard about. I just found out from TMZ that the infidelity of either spouse or whether either spouse is living in with the lover has no bearing on alimony in California. From my research spousal support is determined by a variety of other factors. I still believe if Dell Curry hadn't gone public with his accusations then the divorce wouldn't have been so ugly. And while he appears justified to be angry, his alleged infidelity or the alleged infidelity of his wife remains to be proven by either party. But it needn't have been broadcasted. Also, Dell Curry's wife works and has raised 3 children who have turned out well and have apparently married very good partners so I wouldn't call Sonya Curry a "gold digger" which was a term used by one of the commenters.
