Yo! Album sales are calculated from streams and iTunes purchases. Every 1500 streams (on average because its different on different platforms) is counted as one ‘album equivalent’ alternatively 10 song purchases is considered the same. So for Doja to have sold 55,000 albums it was really 82.5M streams or 550,000 song purchases or a combination of the two. The point is that record companies inflating streams or purchases directly affects the number of ‘albums sold’ so you cant really draw any conclusion from comparing those number to eachother.
