No way you can make me believe that the secret service is really this inept. Only 130 yards away this kid was able to climb to the top of a building with a rifle and was seen doing it by spectators but the secret service wasn't in position to see him. There's only two options here it was allowed to happen or the secret service really is that bad at their job. It's as simple as that. Senator Chuck Schumer made a comment about Trump quite a while ago saying Trump was dumb for taking on and insulting the intelligence community and that they have 6 days from Sunday to get you. The Biden administration is cooked and the last thing the intelligence community wants is Trump taking back the White House because he's coming after them and he knows what to expect this time around.

The secret service had limited manpower so they used from 30 to 40 local officers to 'secure' the area according to a report I saw.

I have been a lifelong Democrat. I have voted straight down party lines for about 40 years, from Jimmy Carter through Barack Obama (first term). I was so disillusioned by Obama's first term that I did not even vote in the 2012 or 2016 elections. After Trump was elected in 2016, I watched him implement policies that I agreed with. I became a Trump supporter. The thing that people don't realize is that many of Trump's policies were consistent with Bill Clinton's policies. Not mirrored, but consistent. However, the Dems, whom I now refer to as Socialist (starting with Obama's first term), changed their policies into more of a Socialist ideals which I could NOT agree with. I didn't leave the party. Trump's immigration policy is the exact same as 1960s and 70s Democrats. Cesar Chavez highlights this. He was a Democrat darling, a union leader who advocated for Democrats for years. He was a legal immigrant who wanted to help his union be competitive by having the government bar illegal entrants from competing with his union workers. He knew Republicans were a lost cause on the matter. They were the party of big business and big business LOVES cheap labor, hence why they offshore so much manufacturing to places like Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, and Thailand. Democrats paid lip service to fix the border problem but did nothing. Chavez was so pissed off at the lack of action by Democrats that when his union would go on strike many of them would patrol the border with weapons to do the job the government refused to do.
