It’s also brilliant how it came full circle between the weatherman and Pierce. For more context, about a year ago the weatherman walked off after being made to feel uncomfortable by pierce. There was undertones of racism and you could really see the guy getting upset. The words used were ‘hey you’re from the streets’ and also when referring to amounts of money they mentioned monkey for £500 which ok wasn’t racist but I think it was the last straw. I’m very happy for the weatherman and it would be lovely if he got pierces job. He is very well spoken, compassionate and very easy to relate to.
