The argument that he didn't want to win so they wouldn't have colluded with Russia has one major flaw: Trump's huge ego. He didn't want to win but he made his whole campaign bashing hillary. So no doubt they were stupid enough to try and find dirt on hillary with help from whoever. Not cuz they were taking the campaign seriously but because its all they do, use insults as arguments. It's very easy to imagine they would do all they could to bash hillary but still not expect themselves to win because they were just doing it for the fame and money. I have no trouble believing both are true.
