Bam went through a rough time but now it's more because he's washed up and struggling to deal with the fact that he used to live the rich, rock n roll lifestyle. The guy partied and lived that lifestyle since his late teens years. He's struggling with not being able to ride the Viva La Bam and Jackass wave anymore. It's VERY obvious he's struggling with the reality of growing up. But "fans" keep scapegoating Dunn.

This doesn't really make too much mention of Ryan Dunn's death. It's mentioned like some sort of afterthought. But Bam's depression and alcolism skyrocketed when Dunn died. Bam was obviously troubled for a long time, but it was taken to a new level after Ryan died.

They gave every other obvious reason they could think of but only casually mentioned Dunn's death which played one of the biggest roles. Obviously most people know, but if the video is specifically about all the the reasons and mistakes and unfortunate events, the death could have at least been given a little more insite. And not everyone watching the video are jackass fans so it would have been alittle more insitefull. That's all.

Hopefully he’ll find his groove but as the video indicated, he’s got some growing up to do.

It's just sad. My friend and I used to look up to this guy, not in the do "Whatever the fuck I want." way but the get a skateboard, learn to skate and just have fun and not care what anyone else says way. We liked his dress sense, his attitude to life and we loved the Jackass films. But then Bam started drinking, and everything went wrong. Then Dunn died and things got even worse. Unfortunately, my friend has gone the same way, drinking HEAVILY, doing drugs and just distancing himself from everyone. I hope he doesn't kill himself on his new motorbike and I hope one day I can get through to him, but he's never listened to me and has always been the type to do what he wants. I hope he doesn't completely mirror Bam's life.

Rick Taylor You have no idea what it means to be a true friend. You don't just let people destroy their own lives without stepping in and trying to help stop tthe behavior. You can only do so such but turning a blind eye makes you a bad friend...not even a friend at all, actually.
@martylorenz55608 жыл бұрын
your friend sounds like a bitch.
@kingcobra128998 жыл бұрын
Your buddy is lucky to have you, sometimes there isn't much you can do to help, except just exist with the thought that you would be there for him if he ever does come around to sharpening up. Just live your life and remember you care for your friends even if they are not there. Like the door is always open but you gotta walk through it type of thing. With us men its tough for us to find good close friends. A man's best friend is a brother. Any person would be there for their brother if they felt that they could, same words as my earlier text. It's family, we don't pick them but we can add more into it. If you say something to him you will know you tried best, win or lose you tried. If you don't say something then you will always have that feeling, be it regret, fear, or self-doubt. Also I had a Yamaha F-ZR and a Virago, bikes are not that bad. A little dangerous, sure, but that's the fun part. J.S.Pena P.S. For him to mirror Bam, he would need about 2 kicks in the groin a for about year. Cheers.
