The only way women last decades in movies is if they're character actresses, that's the way it's always been. Pure eye candy, no way. Once the looks fade, the roles diminish as younger, more attractive women come up. So many have tried plastic surgery (Meg Ryan, Rene Zellweger, etc) and it only accelerates their lack of desirability for big roles, making them look not only old, but weird. I ask myself, Why? Many of these people are multimillionaires, they can semi-retire, taking occasional roles without this obsession to turn back the clock.

Actors should retain a little humility and mystique to remain believable on screen. She was larger than life then and her tabloid image overshadowed everything else. (Yes I know Cash is dead) My point is, these Hollyweird plastic dolls refused to grow old gracefully and likely more attractive without the PS. It has been eons since I've seen a "star" over 40, who doesn't look like the Joker from Batman! Even look at singers. Dolly Parton was gorgeous in spite of the ginormous fake boobs, false eye lashes, fake lips and never showing her real hair. But then she turned to PS, and she, like all of the rest look like something you would see in a terrifying nightmare! Most of the women that people believe to be beautiful are ass ugly in person. We could ALL look beautiful in air brushed photos and super quick shots on, The Insider. None of the people you call stars are actually attractive. Hollyweird just knows all of the tricks to hide what they really look like. "Don't bother to respond to my comments. Hey Demi! Wanna look younger? Lighten your hair colour and cut about 5" off. Ask any cosmetologist. The same advice could be said to Courtney Cox. What worked for you 20+ years ago, no longer applies. Lighter coloured hair softens facial wrinkles. Shorter hair gives lift, whereas long hair will draw your face downward. Lighter shades of makeup help too. I took this advice and many people guess me to be 5-6 years younger than my actual age of 52.

Agreed. A couple shades lighter, maybe fuller and shoulder length...and she's too thin--gain 5 lbs to fill out her gaunt face. And, whoever did her veneers needs to be fired. They look too big and very unnatural. Natural teeth unless their broken, rotten, totally misaligned etc, is always best!
