They should've focus in some story line following the events of Salvation, exploring the relationship between John and Kyle and attaching all the loose links in order for some final salvation movie to be directly connected to how T1 began. TSalvation is so underrated and so full if little details. 03:12 TDarkFate flopped BECAUSE of two reasons: they killed John Connor, making all previous deaths in vane. And they told us the same story AGAIN for the fourth time

As a normal regular fan of the franchise, I don't mind seeing the movies that broke the timeline but if THE robot not wanting to return, then the franchise should die with him. You could still make content out of it, but only if you bring something new to the table

Honestly the hardest part of dark fate was swallowing whatever nonsense they did in the beginning. When it came to action it was spot on.

I liked Dark Fate. Felt it was the best of the attempts. Only issue with it was, it didn’t hold the viewers hand with its rules to set the story, and left it vague, possibly to explore in its sequels. When you analyze the film deeper, you can see what they were going for. That & it didn’t help it was in an time where negativity was at an all time high with hateful agendas. Still, if anyone can make sense of a continuation or into a new world for the franchise, Cameron I believe he can make a good story to follow.

Terminator Salvation's original ending had an interesting spin where John Connor "dies" and gets his conscience switched with Marcus. However the director or producers went to other way which IMO was a mistake. I will say the comic book one where Skynet makes peace with the Resistance was actually more believable and probably where the movies should have gone. Not this reboot Genesis crap or alternate timelines (Dark Fate). But since we are talking sequels, I will say IMO that T2 was the conclusion to the Terminator story. Some movies do not need a sequel unless it is really well written.

I liked all of them but whatever each to their own. T2 will always be the best no matter what though. I don't see how the franchise can continue without Arnie though he literally is the terminator. The worst was salvation in my opinion because he wasn't really in it. Still I hope they make more as it's a great concept and very close to reality as we experience it now...

My Vision would be is to Tie to the The Earlier Movies.... still Focus on the War between Humans and the Machines but also Focus on John Connor taking Kyle Reese back to 1984 and then John find a T-800 but after having a Fight with that T-800 that one would be Reprogrammed to work with the Resistance but would go back to 1995 to Protect Young John Connor when John Finds out that a T-1000 is going back to 1995 and since Arnold doesn't want to be in the Movies? The T-800 can just be Endoskeleton until it goes into the Portal to go back to 1995

The Terminator and T2 will always be classics, two of the best films ever made. Salvation was really good. Genisys could've been great had they not ruined the film with giving away the John Connor twist in the trailers. TSCC was great but could've benefited from being shorter. i.e 10ep seasons to save on filler. Woke fate and T3 garbage

Fans don't want to see an A.I. driven Terminator movie, sounds way too much like Terminator Genesis. I feel like they're forgetting that skynet is A.I., it's been there since the very beginning. The reason fans weren't responding to these last couple movies is because they keep killing off John Connor. We were expecting the entire story to revolve around him as an adult. In one movie they kill him as an adult and the other one they go back and kill him as a child, these were both horrible ideas that never should have made it to the big screen. Just don't retcon the first three movies, don't kill off any major characters and make a post Judgement Day movie.

There is a way to do a terminator sequel without Schwarzenegger, do a sequel to genisys. That t 800 got upgraded with the mimetic polyalloy. So it's appearance could always be altered. Despite what the video said genisys actually ranks as third in terms if gross revenue among the terminator movies. It could've gotten a sequel that could've fixed the problems some haters had with genisys. Because of all the unfair vitriol, we wound up with dark fate. This is what happens when you fans that so married to the original 2 movies bitch and whine when genisys producers tried to do something new while still maintaining some commonality with rest of the franchise I personally think it was a big improvement to recast sarah and Kyle. Linda Hamilton and Michael biehn have as much acting range as a telephone pole. Clarke and Courtney actually made their roles more lively. Although their performances weren't perfect Hamilton and biehn start to get annoying over time. This is one reason why I find genisys way more watchable than any of the movies. A lot of people criticize the time travel which is a total bs criticism. Time travel is key component of this franchise after all. If more than one trip is shown in a movie then don't be surprised. Genisys wasn't even that hard to follow which leads me to conclude that atleast certain members of the audience didn't pay proper attention to this movie, and they blame a less than optimal experience on the film instead of themselves.
