I think the "Im wary aware" quote more refers to her being more aware of herself. She is basicley entirley Charlie in full control of herself and fully sentient, while the others are more animalistic, not fully themselfes anymore. And because Charlie is a fully aware human she of course isnt dumb enough to be fooled by a simple Freddy Mask. Ore heck maybe Fazbears security uniforms where purple and simply seeing the purple triggerd her to attack

The day shift security guard can’t be Michael. It has to be William because of the dead bodies and what Phone Guy says regarding investigations being out there and then coming to the restaurant. It’s possible that there were at most two shifts when William was night guard that he had Michael go in his place because he’s the spitting image of his father which could have caused the Puppet to get the two confused. It’s because of this confusion that the Puppet appears to be “always thinking” as Phone Guy says in one of his calls. And when William shifts to the day shift, he can’t possibly expect the switcharoo with Michael to work as, while his spitting image, Michael’s appearance is that of a physically younger William. So William is the day guard whose position suddenly becomes available. This is the only way for this theory to be valid while taking into consideration that William was also there. Also, Charlie could have seen the Bite of ‘83 before her death by being at the restaurant that day because her father was an owner as well and would have brought her there too.

Of the spirits in the game, Charlie and Crying Child are the most aware. I just assumed Golden Freddy told the Puppet "Thats my Brother!" Now, I think when the player has the mask on, the puppet still think's Michael is an animatronic; but is still aware he's Golden Freddy's brother.

I think there's a strange relationship between Charlie and Michael. Charlie obviously doesn't hate William, but at the same time, throughout the timeline, she tries to prevent or kill Michael, even though he is NOT even her KILLER On the reverse side of the coin, the situation can be viewed from Cassidy/TOYSNHK. Following the Logbook and partly UCN and theorizing Cassidy's presence in FNaF 3 and FFPS, even he/she does NOT do THIS, being on the contrary the most AGGRESSIVE spirit. He/she knows/assumes interactions between Michael and BV and, perhaps, that the older brother also wants to help everyone, and goes to meet him, although, if you think about it, there is no benefit for him/her to help others, he/she just wants revenge, while Charlie, being the same DEFENDER of spirits and the same aware, does the exact opposite. She doesn't want to cooperate with Michael and help him in helping as a joint goal, she's just trying to kill him in FFPS, lol

It says that when the bite of 83 happened, Henry knew Charlie was there and started not taking her back after it was closed. Mike severely injured CC, but apologised, soothing his spirit. CC dies in hospital, in darkness BECAUSE William Afton pulled his life support. You hear this play out in the ending cutscene of Fnaf 4. William Afton killed CC because he didn't believe he'd recover. The puppet can talk to souls, she'd know Mike is trying to help from encountering CC's disembodied soul so would have no real reason to attack him specifically as his brother trusts him to help save the spirits. Arguably CC wouldn't let harm come to Mike, even in his broken state because he cherished Mike's apology. Good memories are the key to happiness in Fnaf, this apology from Mike in Fnaf 4 would be one for CC. CC might even be TOYSHK from UCN, but that hinges on his death, parallels, lack of body recovery and the fact that UCN appears to made of the darkness he died in, in hospital.(See Golden Freddy cutscene.) UCN is a world of agony controlled by a disembodied boy that refuses to rest his soul out of the sheer agony he was put through pre death.

You had me 100% in the first half. You were building this whole case for Charlie recognizing a person they saw wearing mask in while alive and tying that to Mike. I was really feeling the buildup and agreeing all the way. I followed your logic directly to the Bonnie Bro and was just waiting for you to say it... But then you took a hard right turn and talked about it being because Charlie knows the anamatronics, so she would know you're not one (which feels like it's leaning on the "but I am very aware" line you kinda denied as a viable explanation at the beginning.) Then, you meandered a bit through the fact that the new models have a facial recognition system tied to a criminal database (and claimed it would also recognize previous employees as part of the same protocol. Which is never stated. It's simply stated that while the place is locked down, previous employees are not supposed to be there. Nothing ever connects this idea to the facial recognition system.) None of which is relevant to the puppet, who predates this feature in the Toys by a long shot. Then branching off this, you go on about Mike having been the guard before Jeremy (which I thought we generally agreed was William, who was moved to dayshift the week we play as Jeremy, and caused the DCI, thus why "previous employees " were under suspension.) All this just to loop back around to Jeremy is the Bonnie Bro. Which I agree with, but the way you presented this didn't make the strongest case for it it could have. I feel like this would have been a better argument if you had led into the Bonnie Bro conclusion alongside your case towards the idea that Charlie can recognize people they saw wearing mask in life and considered child killers. Then built up your case for him being the Bonie Bro. The meandering through all these other subjects in the 2nd half weakens the punch of the Bonnie Bro conclusion. Thanks for reading! I never liked the idea of puppet being just another victim. It's boring and I don't like the fact that one victim is "more aware" than others for some reason. When I first saw the Give Gifts Give Life minigame in fnaf 2 I thought it was some paranormal creature that made the animatronics possessed in the first place. That would make things far simpler.

So, before actually watching more than a minute, my guesses are "The Puppet doesn't have the facial recognition systems all the other animatronics have, which prevents the mask from keeping the ghost inside from detecting that the person wearing it is, in fact, someone they're trying to kill", or "whatever system the Puppet uses to get around the pizzeria when the music box unwinds defaults to flinging it at whoever is in the office during the night".

Occam's Razor, the Puppet just knows it's a suit because of the fact that she's aware. Like you said, you can tell if it's a person wearing a mask or not and the others are too unaware to realize it. I think she just mistakes the security guard for their killer like the rest, given that FNaF 2 was so early in the games development, I don't think Scott thought ahead that much. I think the plan from the start was that the animatronics just mistake all adult men as their killer, like when Golden Freddy says "It's me" he means "it's me, one of your victims", he's taunting the guard thinking they're their killer, the Puppet is just trying to protect the kids from their killer. I definitely don't think its to do with CC's death as Scott was going to end the games with the third game so it doesn't make sense that he thought ahead that much in FNaF 2 or that such an important piece of the lore was included in a game that wasn't planned at it's time of release.

You are wrong. The bite of 83 was before Charlie died a.k.a. the puppet. The reason why William afton killed Charlie was because her father‘s animatronic killed his son Evan afton the crying child.

I don't think it's the bullies or Mike. Because they would be around 15 judging by how large they are in 4. Even Afton wouldn't let Mike become a night guard at 15. I tend to think that the original night guard before Jeremy was Afton himself under an alias. From the "SAVE THEM" mini game, it's still set in the FNAF 2 location but none of the toys except Mangle are moving. Also 5 new animatronics, one is rebuild daily at that point and we have 5 new dead kids. Because Jeremy and Fritz are wearing the same uniform, and Charlotte is more aware of what's happening around her she can go "Ah ha! You're not an animatronic, you must be Afton!" even when it's not. Also Scott tends to reuse names a lot. Hell, Jeremy is the name of the child possessing Bonnie. So Bonnie Bro can't be Jeremy Fitzgerald. Furthermore, I don't think she would attack Mike or Bonnie Bro knowingly. What happened to Evan/CC was an accident. Mike isn't a killer like his father and she would know this. Bonnie Bro is Mike's friend and likely some stupid kid. I don't think she would attack him either simply because it was an accident. A prank gone extremely wrong. Good try though.

I have a theory, what if the puppet was actually the one being protected, I mean that the puppet was always considered as the protector of the missing children, she was the one that helped the souls get a body, and helped them learn to move within them, but the one controlling golden Freddy since they are known to mostly teleport around while sitting. The puppet was also known to be the most knowledgeable one out of all the other missing children, especially if you go into the fnaf games and videos with the puppet in it, (especially the VHS) but either way it was what made everyone think she was considered the protector of the missing children, but what if it was the other way around. Edit: I'm too lazy to do the rest of my thought process, so have fun.
