Qubo I used to watch it all the time when I was little! Takes me right back to my childhood and I forgot about it! I stopped watching it idk why tho! Omg! Nostalgia hit me hard! When my family first moved to our new house, we didn’t have cable hooked up yet so we had to watch satellite tv (pbs kids, etc) and we used to watch qubo. I wasn’t really into it but I’m sad it got shut down.

We had cable at our house growing up but honestly channels like Qubo and PBS Kids was just as big a part of my childhood as Nickelodeon and both Playhouse Disney and the Disney channel were. We also had NJTV which was a public broadcasting service like PBS that was local and served all of New Jersey.

Qubo didn't have sonic. But I believe if you had the black cable box growing up, Saturday morning on channel 13 they would have "Cw4Kids Toonzai" cartoons and they aired Sonic X and Yugioh on there and same with Dragon Ball Z but only the Kai version. Those were truly the good ole days

As an American, this is ridiculous. The shows were mostly Canadian, but some of them came from UK, Australia, and there was even one that came from Brazil! Qubo was an American channel and tried to pick shows that didn't do well or didn't have good ratings. Sorry, but your theory is wrong! The real reason it shut down was money

This is wrong. Scripps shut down QUBO to focus on other programming and other channels. Scripps has multiple and later launched several other channels over the air that focus on reality shows, sitcoms, and other classic tv.
