Interesting and simple question that leads to complex answers. I like it. 1. Here's the simple answer, in My opinion. He's a compulsive liar. > 1, A. To delve into that more deeply and go more into the complexities > He contradicts Himself. Spun the public narratives Himself many times, which is impressive. He's done it since day 1, and People used to hate Him because He was so bitter and horrible, in demeanour and His voice was even different. 2. He came back with injected charisma, and positivity to His personality. Became really good at talking Himself up. Since then, People were able to relate to Him, like Him. Even though I suspected it's all a show Personally, I still tip My hat cause He's good at talking which is, our biggest weapon as Humans in many ways. 3. People like that, on a subconscious level, some People more consciously like that too. People use words to change situations, use words as weapons e.c.t. It's a skill, It's a phenomenon Wether it's moral or not. "Be good, or be good at it". 4. However, it stops working at some point. Usually if You don't dot Your I's and cross Your T's. If You start losing cards from Your hand, You keep contradicting Yourself then People see through it and feel like Fury is making a fool of them and the boxing World. Then You notice certain things, negative things about Him because He never will live up to the Guy He portrayed, also known as His false self. 5. When You start making claims, that are so delusional that Your overpowering charm and charisma can't fill in the cracks. Then Your charm and charisma, also forms cracks. Thanks for the content bro.

So what other things has Fury done to make you think on his day he could have been the best. You must have seen the McDermott fight and also the Steve Cunningham fight. He had a great performance against a mesmerised Klitchko and then refused the rematch, obviously busted for nandrolone use so is that the best performance. Personally, I think 'hated', is a strong word. I'd opt for 'intensely disliked'. T F has earned it though. His foul mouth, within ear-shot of decent women and children, sealed it for me. His, "No man born from his own Mother's, 'C' , can beat me", during a Wilder fight was broadcast publicly. His lies, deflections, threats and vile insults mark him as thug, that can box very well. When, eventually, he met pure class, he 'hit the wall'. Holyfield was Mike Tyson's nemesis. Usyk was Tyson Fury's. TF is low-life, just like his dear old Dad: i m o. Subbed you👌

Interesting analysis, one point i would mention is that you give wilder far too much credit & therefore in turn tyson fury. wilder was the most protected champion I've ever seen in the heavyweights, even turning down a 100 million to unify with aj. His best win was stiveren or Ortiz a Cuban fighter who he was losing too both times. Ortiz didn't even have good amateur accolades which is a tell tale sign for a Cuban and also achieved nothing as a professional. Otherwise he knocked out a lot of journey men from the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, no one who had achieved anything meaningful at top level in the pros or knocked out anyone known for resilience. fury himself had already been knocked down by a couple of smaller men/bulked up cruisers so not the best chin although a good heart and recovery skills, wilder knocking fury down was nothing special at that point but the fact he couldn't knock him out or hurt him as much as other fighters did tells you how overrated wilders power was. Usyk hurt him worse. Its easy to look devastating against puddings but he never knocked anyone out known for resilience like Foreman did with Joe for example so the fact people were giving him the title of hardest puncher based on pudding whipping was always hilarious too me, just a casuals conspiracy. Look at the moment he couldn't hold the belt hostage anymore due to his poor gamble not paying off at trying to scalp fury when he thought he would be weak. Now he has to fight real opposition and look hes hit them and nothing happened except they hit him back and hurt him and beat him. Zhang is much harder puncher than wilder ever was, Christ even im way physically stronger then wilder, have you seen his gym feats? I got clients who got him beat in that department too not to mention hes got two left feet. People now call him shot and yeah sure hes not at his best but his best was never that good anyway. And the fact people was shocked fury fought on the front foot in the second fight confuses me, did they not watch the 12th round of the first fight where fury exposed wilders weakness when he pushed him back and closed the distance and pressured him so he couldn't get the measure/range to use his right hand? Which is his only weapon, total one trick poney. It was sooooooo obvious what fury was going to do and plenty of us saw it. wilder and an aging Vlad are furys best wins and trust me thats not a great CV and to your point of thinking hes the best in the division on his night, what facts back that up? In both Usyk fights he threw more punches then he ever did against wilder or Vlad his best wins and although competitive at points he was no where near winning. fury has to fight and beat alot more names in the division before you give him that subjective title in your head which Usyk objectively proved wrong in the real world anyway although older and smaller himself. fury & wilder were always over hyped and so was aj although he tried to fight everyone from day 1. We live in the age of hype but trust me those 3 would of been nothing more than food in the 80,s & 90,s. Usyk has re-educated the casuals on real boxing i hope.

You make some really good points. Incredibly written as well. I appreciate that. As I’ve said in other videos, fury has the skills but haven’t proved it in the ring yet and therefore can not be called a generational great. Wilder has a sniper of a right hand but as you said only knocked out journey men. AJ, I respect because he tried to fight all comers and came up short. Usyk emerges as the real champion after all.
@gymthink65877 күн бұрын
@@TheBrightShowPodcastBoxing You're welcome & likewise I appreciate your balanced response. You're right fury has skills and certainly the most skillful of the old big 3 (fury, aj & wilder) but skills must survive your opponents skillset/physicality & plans. And his skills simply aren't up to it. There are more skillful fighters and fighters less skillful but their physicality could easily level the playing field against him. If fury fought everyone in his generation like Ali or Lewis did he would have lost way more. That's why you're right he's not a generational great let alone an all time great which he was claiming with just a single figure title fight record which was insulting, that's why he lost so much respect from boxing fans among other reasons. He tried to talk & hustle himself into goat status while holding up the division and therefore not proving it. Usyk is definitely the real champion and conducts himself as one. Nice chat mate 👍

Never was Fury fan but I did always respect him for overcoming his demons. With that said, I started disliking Fury when the first Usyk fight was in negotiations. Saying Usyk had to accept a 70/30 split then Fury had his bluff called out which led to massive scrutiny. Then the Ngannou fight which Tyson got knocked down and barely scrapped by a decision win. On top of that, the disrespect to Usyk(rabbit, middleweight, gappy tooth, etc.) only to get bested twice and knocked loopy in the first fight. Maintain the idea if the Turki never made the Undisputed fight happen, Tyson likely would've continued to fight lesser opposition. All the while claiming Usyk or Joshua wasn't worthy of tangling with the self-proclaimed greatest heavyweight to ever live.
