Well done on this :) I remember well it all happening at the time, but social media wasn’t the thing it is now, so people only had bits and pieces of the story. There was going to be an official documentary made at the time - called The Blinkumentary - but the producers ran out of money and it never got finished.

@@MoniqueTx they’ve still got all the footage they were gonna use, just can’t get anyone to fund finishing it off. And the further along in time it gets, the less likely it is to happen. The guy’s KZbin channel was HNDSMRNSM. Same guy who made the Wishing Well music video.

In an interview blink originally broken up after the 2002 tour. Mark thought that was it and was the end. But after the whole boxcar racer thing they got back together and made Self Titled.

Oh wow ! I saw them in Paris in 2004 but I think it was in February or March. They must have played twice in Paris that year. One the best memories of my teenage years

"We told him if we were going to record the album separately, in different studios, our band was ceasing to be a BAND. The magic in the studio is created when the three of us are there TOGETHER, working on parts, discussing, sometimes arguing, all pushing the album forward. Trying to frankenstein a cd together by mailing each other pro tools files to work on in our own private studios was ridiculous. It would lessen the entire album. It would be a terrible cd. " this was an excerpt from that interview Mark did right at rhe time before the brake up in the tsunami rehearsals hence the creation of " Neighberhoods " 6 years later,,,the worst blink album up to date, Sad thing is that this kids who say they are blink fans actually rave it as a great album the reason being because this was the first blink album they ever heard and giving the current status of shit music there is, this was probably good music to them . Though id put it at the same low level as Califonia and Nine i coudnt dare my self to hear it as it still had skibba ugh
