We will reign as kings and priests on the earth, judge and rule all things, we sha sit with God on His throne and He who me we have sung praises to all our lives shall sing praises to US. Read the scriptures if you don't believe me. Above all we shall be united totally to God, close than any relationship you could have with any human on earth, even 'telepathic twins'. No shadow between, totally constant, full, infinitely deep communion. Totally absorbed in His presence at all times. Closer than a thought is to our brains or a feeling is to our hearts. Id like to point out that Constantine wasn’t really an Arian. He supported the nicene creed and it’s not known if he was baptized an Arian or not. St Nicholas of Myra was a staunch opponent of Arianism, and it is likely that he was at the Council of Nicaea, but only bishops were allowed to speak to the Council, so it is unlikely that Arius would've been able to speak publicly, which would give no occasion for a slap. The same historical sources writes that Arius was a short, thin grandfather and an ascetic. He was very eloquent and clearly presented his position. Therefore, the very understanding that Saint Nicholas slapped this man, who was 24 years older than him, and who was 69 years old at the time of the convocation of the council, was a very great disrespect. Nestorius, for example, was a ruffian and believed that he himself exposed heretics, for which Cyril "calmed" him, but he is very ashamed of the incident with Arius. He was simply a subordinationist, like Tertullian, Origen, Justin the Philosopher and even Ignatius the God-Bearer - a disciple of John the Theologian -respected at that time and even now (except for Origen) Teachers and Fathers of the Church.
@CliffCardi4 күн бұрын
You can thank Eusebius of Nicomedia for Arianism. He was sympathetic to Arius and also just happened to have a position in Constantine’s court. He was the one who flipped the narrative to make it seem like Athanasius was the toxic one. He also ordained a Goth named Ulfilas who converted the Gothic invaders of the 4th and 5th century to Arian Christianity.

Arius was a priest under the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the bishopry of Alexandria, which was held by Alexander and the Athanasius. So, we can learn that's better to submit to the authority of your bishop! To be fair, Arius became a scapegoat, subordinationism wasn't created by him ex nihilo, but was most probably developed against Sabellianism (aka Passiopatrism, aka Modalism) in an environment which was heavily influenced by Greek philosophy, in an attempt to conciliate the Biblical Oneness and the Aristotelic/Platonic immutability of the Divine. Since IV Century Roman culture was heavily Hellenized, in fact Trinitarianism played in the same field, naturally became a hot and divisive topic. By early V Century, the many "Arian" sects lost their intellectual reference and their survival depended just on traditional and political factors. By the end of the VI, with the sundown of German-Roman Kingdoms and the dawn of the Frankish Kingdom as regional power, Arianism lost relevance, even something survived until the VIII. Trivia: Arian baptism wasn't valid because they lacked of inner (right) faith. They mostly used standard formulas, only radicals didn't and were criticized by the moderates for that. They didn't baptize hanging the convert by the heels: that's just propaganda. Trivia number 2: Isaac Newton thought to have found the original Christianity, the one without popish (Athanasius was pope of Alexandria) or state influence. By the way, since I'm writing this comment on the 25th of December, I wish a merry Christmas to all!

2:50 Absolute and complete lies! Constantine was never Arian and the bishops weren’t all Arian. There isn’t a single historian or theologian would would make such an unsubstantiated claim. Anthanasius did argue for the Trinity, but he certainly did not rely solely on the Bible. He used extra biblical Greek philosophy to make his points. Hell awaits those who claim to do good while performing evil. You need to search your soul if this is how you are going to twist history to push your own agenda. You are engaging in the same practice you claim to fight against. How many people are going to perpetuate these hyperbolic lies? How many are going to lose faith when it is proven false? How many brothers and sisters in Christ will cast doubt on your work and that of others? This video was made completely for clickbait and illustrates all the arguments against your channel. It is childish and paints the theological understanding of Gen Z as facile and ill informed. You will have to answer for your sins, and I pray you would find the contrition to take this down before others are taken on a false path.

Actually the story of St. Nicholas punching Arius is highly disputed and didn’t appear until the 14th century and even then it was about him punching an Arian…

@@redeemedzoomer6053 you’re making it seem like slapping a heretic is an act worthy of honour. You’re also spreading misinformation about St. Nicholas which might not even be true because it’s true that this story didn’t appear until after about 1000 year after the Council of Nicaea, that’s dangerous.

I get the humor and not deeply against it, but it is technically bearing false witness. People tend to make humor and exaggeration into accepted truth and orthodoxy over time because it sticks...

history truly does repeat itself, every year there is a discussion about christmas being pagan, not being accurate date of Jesus birth, santa not being real etc.

Damn, imagine paganism could've stopped right there and then😭😭😭 bro decided to become one and continued the legacy in the form of Christianity
