Educating those in the penal system is important but I also see the importance of providing a good solid sports program. Not every inmate will excel scholastically but inmates, a high percentage of them, will be successful at athletics. Giving those inmates that choose to take part in these activities a plethora of things to choose from gives each inmate that much more of an opportunity to stay free and alleviates stress on the taxpayers

Just had a flash back. Walking with they hands behind they back 😂. I remember after hella different times in juvenile hall I went to YA and it was free movement (OH, PRESTONE, CHAD) I remember specifically going to Cedar in Prestone and the YC not making me walk with my hands behind my back and I was like 👀 and asking him “I’m walking without my hands on my behind my back? then he said “You tough right? Figure it out.” Walked all the way to Juniper and was GASSED low key. 🤦🏻‍♂️ had to run like 4-5 fades with no legs under me 😂.
