I really hope we get to play as Surge in an official mainline game someday, they should really use these next few games to introduce the comic characters to game-only fans. The comics being canon really doesn't feel as big as it should thanks to these characters only showing up in the mobile games and that one reference to Tangle in Frontiers.

I think we just need to be patient. There's only been two games in the most recent timeline (Frontiers and Dream Team) and neither of them really had the opportunity to fit comic characters. Considering how Ian wanted to put so much SatAM / Archie references in his current work I think we'd have a good chance in the next mainline. We might have to wait longer for a playable role though...

It’s amazing how much just changing some animations can make the experience feel. I would never demand that all character mods come with custom animations, I would be lying if I pretended to know the first thing about Animation, but it’s always a nice surprise when mods come with these unique animations to make the experience feel that little bit more authentic to the character

Even something as simple as the boost launch animation being changed in Reanimated Frontiers made the game feel 2x smoother

It'd be cool to bring back the multi-campaign tradition (like Sonic X Shadow is doing) and have a Sonic & Surge story where you play levels made for both of them. It could be a funny but cool way to justify having Shadow and Surge essentially be Sonic skins lol

@@DolphynsDeck yeah there's also the detail of the thumb holes in the cuffs of the jacket. I'm no animator, but imagine animating her hands with this in mind would be a bigger headache than one would think.
