There are also a few stores behind the mall that are technically part of it. They tried to go for an open air mini town vibe back there. Mostly a few restaurants and a book store.

Wow. My local mall!, Fun fact, the store at 5:59 to the right with the huge sign is a retro Wendy’s which I went inside, they were using it for storage.

Another fun fact is that the infamous Chick Fil-A sauce was born at the Spotsylvania Mall when it was originally located across from the USPS in the 80s.

There are two JCPenneys, the big one you saw is the Women's store, the smaller one is the Men's and Home store. They both open at 11am

Love the wood accents it makes the mall feel very warm and welcoming. Having the post office and library is very convenient in addition the Costco anchor is smart. Since everyone seems to go to Costco, this will probably bring in more business for the mall.

I live up in Woodbridge, VA near Potomac Mills Mall. This mall opened in September 1985 and is still thriving today with over 200 stores on one level. It was developed by the Mills Corporation and is now owned by the Simon Group. Mills Malls are just one level and so you do allot of walking from one end of the mall to the other end. Like this mall, our JCPenney doesn't open until 11 AM even though the mall opens at 10 AM. Potomac Mills Mall has a Costo, but is only accessible from outside as their is no mall entrance

Yep, Sear was on the end of the Mall opposite the Costco. When the mall opened, Montgomery Wards was where the Costco is now. There was an Aladdin's Castle video arcade where the library is now located back in the 80s. I wonder if the Attain apartments which opened up earlier this year next to the Towne Center next to where Sears used to be will bring in much additional traffic.

Cool to see they have a DQ Ice Cream shop in the food court. Nice mall, thanks for the tour, RRR.
