Out of curiosity, given the learning curve of the tool vs the learning curve of creating something like this in a native python program (assuming one is already a competent python programmer), what kind of time savings do you think something like this lets you achieve?

for me, I prefer coding, I simply love building things my self and have full control and customization. for an experienced programmer and with the help of AI you can build these automations in like 30-60 minutes. Bu No Code Tools Like Make will help you spin up and test things way faster, and even though Make has a lot of customizations and even Custom apps, you will me limits to the features they have. the main advantages of using Make are: Saving Time, and Managed Automations. you will not worry about hosting and scheduling your tasks and so on. it mainly depends on the scenario. I run many automations on Make, and many other using my own custom scripts. I think having both skills is important today.

I have written a few Python scripts with the help of ChatGPT that reads each and every comment and calls OpenAI using its API, understands the sentiment of the KZbin comments, generates a reply, also accumulates all the comments for a given video and understands if users are requesting for specific things (this helps in creating videos for which there is a demand) ... etc etc...
