Hey Andrei, this visual mapping makes you stand out from the rest of the online educators. As a novice in coding, I take my hat off to you. Your content is top notch. From your experience, how long did it take you to cover this much knowledge? Thanks!
@ZeroToMastery4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the kind words Azamat! My belief is that you should never stop learning. I'm also constantly trying to improve and learn new things. I've now been in this industry for many years but there's also many programmers who know way more than me. Everyone is at a different point in their learning journey. Learning small amounts consistently over your entire lifetime is much more powerful than trying to learn everything at once. Happy coding!

I was under the impression that you have to learn the advanced fundamentals before you got a job, because that is what will be thrown at you in the interviews. I thought interviews, especially for larger companies, included technical parts where you'd be given problems that require data structure and algorithm knowledge in order to pass them. Is that incorrect?
@ZeroToMastery4 жыл бұрын
You're definitely not wrong Tasheem! It really depends on what your goals are and where you're looking to get hired. However, if you're looking to interview and get a job at some of the big FAANG tech companies (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google, etc.), you will definitely need to know data structures and algorithms. For smaller companies, it's not as important to learn as it isn't as common as part of the interview process and ideally you can then learn these things on the job / while working and getting paid. Yihua, a fellow ZTM Instructor, talks all about this in his student AMA's which you can find here: Part 1: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJC0o357mL-eaas Part 2: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZeVe6Ghrsxrepo I hope this helps!
